The fact is that GG's numbers are way down from a year ago. We need to compensate for that by being as aggressive as possible. If they don't feel our presence, it's going to make any other industry-targeted op 10x harder to be taken seriously.

I am a programmer for a game dev studio. GDC is an INVALUABLE resource of techniques shared by huge studios. People like Epic Games or Sony really don't give a shit about the awards portion, it's about presenting their tech. Just look at this awesome shit:
