It's been said before but it bears repeating.
Twitter is retarded because of the format. It's hard to form coherent thoughts at 117 characters. Because of this, it's easy to accidentally say dumb shit you don't mean or take something out of context.
Any attempts to discuss things on Twitter end up being fifty-tweet conversations that are a fucking mess to read. See Phil Fish's Twitter rants for an example.
If you want to discuss things, just stay on chans like this one.
