There are 3 computer based boards floating around that I know of. /tech/,/gentoo/, and /prog/. /prog/ may have its place as a board, but I think people will have to choose between /tech/ and /gentoo/. What is the most /g/entlemanly way to duel?

i think these three board's mod should cooperate and put each other's board in their sticky as sister board or something, seriously i didn't know about /gentoo/ until someone mentioned it.

The problem with fullchan is that you can create boards. that leads to super niche bullshit and severely damages the growth of every single board.

As of now there are at least 3 different tech boards that really should only be one board. combined they would have a pretty decent user base. Divided they get updated one an hour at the most. The mods of each tech board need to get together and try to combine the boards or it could be years before there is a decent sized community.

I will make /gentoo/ my home as long as it stays true to the rules of no consumer gadget bullshit.

Sure, the board will be slow compared to /tech/ but for me it's the quality of the content and discussion that matters, not apple thread no.1094942342324548738434 or another battlestations thread
