I don't get what "yearly" points are. I assumed they would be 5 points added to every "season" this coming year. But if we only got 5 points for this season then /2hu/ should still be beating /sp/ (or really close? - What is the score???)

The points on GETs add up each month.
The end of each month is the end of that season and the high point total board gets a yearly point.
12 seasons in a year and then you have your yearly winner.

/sp/ just won the equivalent of 5 seasons today.
