What's funny is when Niko actually made Teridax a mod, all he did was mod a couple posts and tweet about it, he didn't actually do anything because he didn't care about the board, but we shitposted it to death simply because we didn't trust him anymore. Blade willingly handed over the keys to people who actively dislike us and they're taking care of the shitposting for us.

A large dump of info is about to come about GaymerX, Kickstarter, and Toni Rocca abusing his position of power.

This all shows a massive amount of irresponsibility from Kotaku for not looking into things, possible collusion happening between them and Toni Rocca, and the misuse of funds from many places without anyone knowing it. This all starts off with a really, REALLY stupid game from Toni Rocca that needs to be shown so we can better understand things.

It's the people that run such a thing that are the bad people, and only if they've done something bad in the first place. Not all of them are bad. So I'm seriously pissed about this. I remember back when GaymerX had its first Kickstarter. I loved the idea: I'd seen LGBT gamers who'd felt stigmatized by the community in the past. I've never gotten it for being a woman nor seen anyone get it for that reason, but I have seen it happen to LGBT people, particularly gay men. This makes the fact that they've apparently turned to using the block bot all the more depressing. I've seen tons of GamerGate supporters who happen to be gay (I know right, what an idea) now blocked from their Twitter simply for following the wrong people. They don't seem to care about this at all - they, like many others, are convinced that it's because they're all harassers.

And frankly, I can't take this one sitting down. It's one thing for individuals to pull this nonsense. It's another entirely for a community group for a convention to do this. One which purports they support ALL gamers no less. So here's a list of all their sponsors and how to contact them. I'd like as many people as possible, but especially if you're gay or trans yourself. (I put an asterisk next to ones I think would be most receptive).

Welcome to GamerGateSquared

The gamergate archival and clerical research board.

Purpose
As discussed previously, the purpose of this board is to aggregate infodumps, provide a place for long term research projects, and to provide archival threads for all things relating to gamergate. This board can also be used for research into related topics such as common core, social justice, and more.

How it works
At any given time there are three primary "work" threads.
1. Digging general. Digging on anything related to social justice, gamergate, mainstream media ect goes here.
2. General research and discussion thread. Discuss any research projects you have and work on them here. Also includes discussion of long term ideas.
3. Deep freeze threads. Place archives, links, articles, ect that you want backed up in a safe way here as a "Fallback" to other methods such as archive today gamergate.me and others. These threads will be saved down to a text file and archived once full and a new one opened.

Other uses
Besides the primary threads, feel free to post your own threads for digs, long term research, or what have you. This board is strictly for long term research, digs, information aggregation, and historical research. It is not for discussion of current events or drama.
