Hello, Leaders.

Lately there's been a lot of drama about e-celebs, about creating a council to drive the direction of GamerGate. This has been largely detrimental to the dynamics and the momentum of the movement/consumer revolt, as it creates first and second class GG members.

This has never been the spirit of GamerGate.

However, in the midst of the drama, others have discussed creating a forum, a place to propose and discuss operations or actions to carry out for GamerGate.

Many point to /gamergate/ or gamergate.community, but I believe these are not the best options.
*/gamergate/ is for general discussion, news, happenings, etc.
*gamergate.community uses registration and nicknames, which inevitably leads to the rise of personalities and power dynamics. I have nothing against that site, but I think if we're gonna have a forum where everyone's opinion has the same importance, it has to be anonymous.

So I'm creating /ggforum/, a space for the proposal of initiatives, ideas and operations, and the corresponding debate.

I've already enabled ID tags, but I feel trips defeat the purpose of anonymity. Still, I'd add them if required by popular demand.

It's alright if you disagree, but try to consider my arguments before you dismiss this.

Isn't this the sort of schism that helped to kill Occupy or is this just another tool for people at http://8chan.co/gamergate/ and KiA to use?

Please, I'm not suggesting a schism.

I made this to be a tool for GG. It's supposed be an orderly way to make sure we are in agreement about the ideas we run with, instead of just jumping onto whatever someone with a big name suggests.

It's also meant to help us iron out the issues with our ideas.

I've seen good ideas get buried under mountains of thread about LOOK AT WHAT GHAZI IS DOING or ANTI-GG GOT BTFO ON TWITTER and so on.
I've also seen certain someones feeling they have enough authority to decide what GG needs to do without consulting anyone. Repeatedly. And fucking up over and over.

Clearly /gamergate/ nor KiA nor any other plataform is doing the trick to prevent that kind of thing, and that's the sort of thing that can break us.
