I created this board during the original exodus from /gg/ as a neutral replacement without ties to any particular agenda or ego. I will be happy and willing to give over board ownership to whoever the consensus agrees is trustworthy and competent. /v/ can also vouch for my trustworthiness. /gamergatehq/ has also been created by a /v/ namefag who is considered trustworthy (Acid Man) and I'll happily endorse it too if people prefer the name.

People are naturally gravitating towards /gg/ because of the name but the owner of /gg/ is unknown and he hasn't commented on whether he's willing to hand over moderation in accordance with the will of the board, so people may be subject to whatever moderation he wants without yet knowing what that is.

Use this thread to discuss the migration, and post info about what each board owner has said to help people decide.

Discuss the migration, request changes to board settings, and suggest a long-term suitable board owner here.

I have created this board as a neutral replacement for /gg/ without ties to any particular agenda or ego. I will be happy and willing to give over board ownership to whoever the consensus agrees is trustworthy and competent. For this reason I would prefer that it become the default replacement and that anyone with suggestions for moderation propose them here rather than everyone make their own board to suit their particular opinions. If Niko agrees to give up /gg/ to whoever GG prefers, another board becomes the main replacement, or people settle on a better name, I will delete it to combat splitting.

It now looks like the staff of gamergate.me have created /gamergate/, so this board will likely be shortlived, but in the meantime voice any objections you may have to the proposed /gamergate/ moderators.
