Hello and welcome to /ggunited/, a possible solution to the recent divisions caused in 8chan's GamerGate community and a welcome place for all supporters from all the other boards on 8chan as well as reddit, twitter and elsewhere. This board's main creed is unity within GG and all opinions and ideas are respected here.

Rules are as follows:

1. (a) Flagrant spam will be deleted on-sight. This also includes necrobumping (bumping of threads older then 4 weeks or past page 13 on the catalog and/or in a raid-like manner.)

(b) CP posting will also be deleted on-sight and the poster will also be banned at the discretion of the global mods.

2. All porn must be spoilered or it will be deleted on-sight.

3. No illegal content or doxx is to be posted on this board. Any illegal content or doxx will be deleted on-sight.

4. Blatant shill threads and marketer threads will be deleted on-sight, this includes any and all personal namefag/circlejerk streams that have nothing to do with current events, a stream thread or posting will only be allowed on extremely special occasions and with permission of the board owner and consensus from the board. Repeat offenders of rule 4 may face a ban depending on the quantity of repeat offenses.

5. This board also has forced anonymity so blatant avatarfagging will not be permitted and will have any anon's posted pictures using an avatar deleted.

All content falling under rule 4, along with any meta content regarding operation of this board, is to be posted to >>>//, however I will not ban for any meta posting here but may delete if it causes thread derailment and repost to //.

Finally we promote strong encouragement to keep GamerGate's current projects and initiatives going strong and encouragement to start discussion for thinking of new ways to make major and minor grounds in our fight against corruption in the video game industry and video game journalism as well as the corruption caused by developers/publishers/3rd parties in regards to gaming journalism and its effects on the industry as a whole. WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU?

I am an anon who has followed and supported GamerGate since it started on 4chan's /v/ and /pol/ boards in August 2014 and have continually followed the movement up to today and have helped and contributed several OPs for mutliple GG hubs. I have no prior personal connections to any other board owners or 8chan volunteers.

WHAT IS THE POINT OF THIS SHITTY BOARD?

With the wake of opforgive being pushed slightly by HQ's Owner and /v/'s Owner I decided to re-boot this board with some added rules in order to find something that would work better then HQ or GGrevolt and continue to keep discussion open and enjoyable for GG supporters on 8chan which they haven't been finding as often as seen by the massive user losses on HQ. While I encourage people to stay on topic I am very lenient and will not condone funposting as one of the reasons for GG hubs successes on 8chan after the bigger ops ended last year was the enjoyment of discussion and wanting to put fun where drama exists and propel it so more anons will enjoy having fun posting while also wanting to contribute to ongoing ops and coming up with new op ideas as well.

WHY SHOULD WE TRUST YOU?

Because I have no connection to anyone in the GG community on a personal level and just want a consistent hub not bogged down by infighting, moderator drama and namefag drama/circlejerking. If things get bad and I go against my words then I will hand the board over to HW and have him decide who to give it to.

Also in regards to shillposting, this is for true viral marketing threads and posts being made to shill their stuff and those are the threads that will face deletion and the only threads whose OP faces possible bans for repeat offenses. E-celeb discussion is allowed and you will not be banned for your posts unless it is blatant spamming which would only happen if you repeat offend.
