I actually have a theory about girls liking guro, just hear me out.

In the ancient times of humanity (preMesopotamian) women were the ones who skinned animals and oozed them, and obviously that'd imply seeing tons of guts and things. This adaptation and role could have subtle passed on in human memory through the ages until now, where people on the internet (in this case, girls looking at blood and guts and stuff) can watch and sorta fulfill a primal need or want, similar to men looking at drawn pornography and experiencing different things like arousal despite not actually partaking in it.
