I've decided to keep this thread locked, but use it as an announcement thread. I will be adding another sticky for /meta/ discussion, as a way of reaching out to me directly with your suggestions and where I can talk with users directly without tripfagging all over the board. Rest assured I haven't abandoned the board; I just prefer not to use my tripcode unless I need to. Having everything in a separate /meta/ thread will also just keep everything more organized.

In other news, I think that the idea of doing a streaming night is a great way to potentially get more users here. 2spoopy classic horror, torture porn/exploitation, and depressing shit general all seem to me like relevant things to stream that would draw the sort of people that would be interested in what this board is about.

On that note: I've also been considering whether or not to expand the board to horror general. I don't want the board to lose focus, but there's definitely overlap between people who like horror, people who like gore and skellingtons, and people who are nihilistic, misanthropic, sad, or hateful people, right? And 8chan doesn't have a horror board at all. Let me know in the /meta/ thread what you think.

Advertising in general (and making OC is a good way to do that, as I've been trying to do) is important for getting this board going. I realize that a lot of that is my responsibility, but I can't do everything myself and having one asshole spamming his board everywhere doesn't look good. Any help with that would be good for all of us, but obviously the board hasn't been able to get a strong following of a few dedicated posters, and that it at least is completely my responsibility to get the board started enough for it to be self-sustaining.

Streaming sounds like a good idea to me and I'll be glad to host it myself except I don't know what streaming movies entails. I'm considering expanding this board to a horror general board in addition to everything else, but am wondering whether that would make the board too unfocused. Advertising and making OC is still an ever-present need.

I'm not dead (physiologically at least kek), nor have I abandoned the board. In fact, I just updated the CSS so it looks less like a cheap knockoff of Dark. Mmm, check out that sexy CSS.

I don't doubt that the board will continue to limp along regardless of whether myself or others put any effort into advertising it. I still have streaming movies on my mind, but just haven't gotten around to it. When October comes around, movies will definitely be getting streamed; I may be streaming other stuff beforehand, hopefully.

Added some more banners as well, although for some reason 8chan hasn't been displaying banners sitewide, so you can't see them.
