Time to get this board back up and running. We might be dead on the inside, but that doesn't mean this board has to die with us! We need to advertise, and start new threads. Dump skeletons with /grim/ so we can go out and start our campaign and get this dreadful place back to it's usual, gloomy, self.

The handful of other usual posters seem to have lost interest, which is unfortunate. It's hard to get something going if we can't even get enough activity from a small but dedicated group of posters.

I'm open to suggestions for advertising. The hardest part of a new board is just getting it out there amongst all the other shit without coming off as a spammer and gaining everyone's annoyance.

You can go the /monster/ route and invite boards to stream movies with.

I'm all for classic horror flicks.

Beyond that, when people post philosophic questions the responses are slow but we'll thought out.

The board isn't dead, I'm sure iim not the only one monitoring it. Just slow.

True. How should we go about doing that movie thing for advertising? I'd see doing a movie that reflects the tone of the board, like In The Company of Men, but that also brings up the question of what other board we'd want to do it with. /suicide/ seems like a good idea, but they might an hero before the stream.

Movie streaming is a good idea. There's a thread going on right now about /grim/-related media, although it only has two posts. But we could definitely start getting together an essential /grim/-core list of movies and shit and stream some of them.

Classic horror and horror in general are great with me. I could see stuff like Come and See, Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer, Martyrs, Inside, "new French extremity" in general being good shit that goes with the tone of the board. Existential/morbid/cynical shit and 2spoopy are all good.

We also need to be getting more skeleton/gore posters here. I know there are plenty of people on 8chan who would gladly shitpost gore and skellies.

/b/ is another board I've advertised to a few times, and I put up a thread on /mental/. I'm not sure what other places would be specifically good places to advertise to because it seems to me that most of the sorts of people that would lurk on this board are scattered all over the place because there isn't really any other board geared towards that kind of nihilistic/depressed disposition, except for /suicide/ kinda.

I don't know anything about how to stream shit, but there's this Japanese horror movie called Pulse ("Kairo") I have that would be fucking awesome to do. It's probably the most interesting apocalypse movie I've ever seen. But I'm open to other suggestions.
