>Streaming
Ah, I've heard of that movie; it's from the same director that did The Wicker Man kek. But cynical general like that is the definitely type of movie that I could see us streaming, in addition to 2spoopy classic horror and horror in general. I'm just trying to think of what sorts of other movies would go with In The Company of Men, if we were going to do a themed marathon.
I could also see perhaps streaming non-fictional things like documentaries. Old black and white stuff detailing the horrors of war and that kind of thing.
Saturday would work. I'm more wondering what sorts of services boards tend to use for this thing.
>Horror general
Pretty much anything horror related would fit the board, I think as long as it's good of course. Even silly gorefests like Evil Dead and Dead Alive would fit the board, since part of it is at least supposed to be goreposting. I think I'll amend the sticky to include horror general.
>Advertising
I don't doubt that there are people out there who would be interested in a board like this, if only they knew about it. The problem is finding these people, who are kind of scattered all over the place on 8chan and abroad. Aside from /suicide/, I don't know of any boards with a userbase who would generally be into this type of board, but expanding it to horror general would probably help a lot in that department.
Aside from straight-up shilling, I agree that a streaming night would probably help - hence why I brought it up. If the board is just getting advertised to people without anything being delivared, people are going to get annoyed, so anything that is tacitly advertising like telling people about a streaming night or posting OC is a good way to do this.
