Thanks anon. A general /grim/ art thread is fine too. I was thinking of posting some Giger even though he kind of undeservedly overshadows Beksiński as far as modern dark surrealist art goes because he did some of the art for Ayy Lmao.

"Ivan the Terrible Killing His Son" by Ilya Repin. This painting has always just done something right for me. The despair in Ivan's eyes, it's /grim/ as fuck.
