1. Read the global rules before posting, I shouldn't need to explain why.
2. No advertising MMO private servers with normal player counts above 100, no exceptions. If you happen to own a small MMO private server (under 100 players) and wish to advertise it here, you are welcome to do so as long as it doesn't take over the board, i.e., take up more than one general thread.
3. Limit discussion and advertising to one thread per server. Games can have more than one thread, however. For example: if someone already has a Minecraft thread up, you can make your own for your server. Threads that reach bump limit (300) that aren't filled with a majority of spam will become cyclical.
3.1. Requests for servers are allowed, but the person who answers the request must post a different thread, and answer the request with a link to the new thread s/he created. If the thread for that server already exists, just link the requestee to that thread. Answered request threads will be purged once it's clear the requestee has found their server or after three days.
4. No image dumps unrelated to the game you are advertising and/or discussing. Porn is allowed, but must be spoilered at all times. Loli is allowed, but must be spoilered and have a filename reflecting that it is loli (will be loosely moderated unless I receive too many complaints).
5. No thread bump spam, dubs/singles, etc. I don't imagine this becoming an actual issue, however.
5.1. Sagebombing others' server threads will earn you a ban. If you don't like someone else's server, hide the thread. Libel or defaming others' servers won't be tolerated. This isn't /v/, don't act like a /v/ poster.
6. Respect server owners specific rules on servers. Name and tripcode usage is encouraged (not required) on this board, simply to help differentiate trolls from people who actually want to play serious games with others. This may not be realistic, but it may help. Server owners may request that everyone who plays on their server use a name and trip in the server thread before entering their server for whitelist purposes.
6.1. Server owners may request people from certain countries stay out of their threads, and thus their servers, which is why flags are enabled on this board. Hiding your flag isn't against the rules, but server owners may request that you show your flag in their thread, refusal may result in a short ban and further posting in their thread without showing your flag will be considered harassment and spam which will result in slightly longer bans. Please be considerate to server owners' wishes.
7. This is a politically neutral board. No complaining about "Nazis" or "Jews" outside of satirical conversations. Conversely, reports made against "racist" users will be ignored. /pol/ related games and servers are more than welcome, but try to keep it confined to those threads. Likewise, reports made against these servers will be completely ignored. If you don't like it, hide it.
8. No furry other than showing off your in game avatar. No other exceptions to this rule will be made.
