Hello, /gsg/. I come here from half chan's /vg/ looking for answers, since my freedom of speech has been under attack by an Orwellian janitor with major authority issues - I have decided to come here and hopefully find out exactly what is going on.

I was recently banned for 13 days for criticizing HPM in a small, but rather eloquent post. My main concern was how railroaded this mod is (seems?) and how Germany is extremely overpowered. My posts, those critical of HPM, have been deleted in the past but this was the first time that I was handed an outright ban, ever.

This would not bother me that much if this janitor had any consistency. Posters "criticizing" Robmod and other mods with spam are never banned and their posts are never deleted. The endless wave of "fuck off rob" or "fuck off back to your steamgroup", their so called "criticism", is routinely ignored by the janitor while well thought out posts criticizing HPM or defending mods, such as Robmod, are deleted.

I've decided to post here, not because of my ban. But because a couple of hours ago, I witnessed a series of posts defending Robmod being deleted - while the "fuck off rob" and "t. rob" posts remained. It would seem that not only criticizing HPM is a bannable offence, but defending mods that aren't HPM is just as illegal. It would seem that it's okay to criticize mods, even with contentless posts - as long as that mod isn't HPM.

It is no longer a question if whether or not this janitor is curbing freedom of speech in favour of HPM. It's a matter of why. Why is he doing this? What's his goal?

You see, there is a long and sad history behind our general, where a very dedicated and autistic group (turkslayer, bobo, faysal, etc) shits the thread. The shitposting first started with the usual M.O., nothing fancy, just plain shitposting.

But they got clever, and learned about false flags and things like that. See pic related.

Besides, don't forget the autistic nature of /gsg/. It's the biggest factor.
Bottom line is, the regulars are butthurt because rob took vickymod into his own hands and people don't agree with most of his changes. The original vickymod was loved at some poitn, but due to said autism and falseflagging, got driven away. Then it split into rangerage (redditor) and rob's mods.
Myself, I really like robmod, but I personally take/modify some stuff that I don't agree with myself, and play it like that.

HPMguy shitposts a lot without his trip on (assume that most t. rob and "fuck off rob" are him). The shitposting group (turkslayer) also supports him, so any kind of discussion against HPM is shot down immediatly. Due to the shitstorm that always ensues when said discussion is happening, janitors/mods get sketchy and start deleting shit left and right. And since rob or anything related to him are hated there, they just go with the hivemind's flow.

I've been noticing the fuck off rob threads and posts here, and have removed and banned the poster. Not because I want to defend Rob, but because it's spam. My question is, why bring your problems here? We don't have the HPM guy, we don't the Kojak shitposters, and we don't have the power hungry janitors. This isn't halfchan's /gsg/, this is fullchan's /gsg/. We have changed a bit from the motherland. I suggest just staying here for your /gsg/ needs. While yes, the board is slow at times, with more posters, it could grow and we can have a nice little community.

I have a suhard-working agricultural employeeion that the format contributes to the emptiness of the board. I think most people are used to just sitting in a single thread and having content from various games and mods just appear for them, while now they have to check many threads to keep up with different topics. It's a better format for mod discussion and AARs, but it might be off putting to people.

HPM guy isnt a janitor, as far as I know
and the Turkslayer shit was just assumptions, when they used to shitpost against meneth (they thought meneth was the janitor)
