Why is it so hard to find information on save game converters? It seems like everything about them is deleted from the paradox forums.
I want to know if it's possible to go CK2 > EU3 or EU4 > Vicky 2 > HoI3 with one save file, and where I'd find the converters to do it, but it seems every project is either dead or outdated.

HoI 3 is the most complex Paradox game by far, it's also micromanagement hell with OOBs(extremely poorly executed mechanic, only good on paper) and tiny provinces. The combat is also much more refined than any other PDOX game, none of the "lol i outnumber u 5% means i win even wit shit comdandurs and twrrain penaltys" garbage like in EU4 and CK2.
DH uses a more traditional "army stack" formation similar to other Paradox games, not much micromanagement. DH has a lot more content than HoI 3 overall, especially in the alternate history department.
HoI 4 will probably be dumbed down for normies after how successful EU4 was. Paradox is a bit silent on HoI 4 but OOBs are confirmed to be gone, good fucking riddance.
