In GalCiv2 the galaxy map was the dealbreaker for me. Does 3 at least actually simulate solar systems instead of putting all the planets directly on the galaxy map?

GalCiv 2's map DOES simulate solar systems though… every planet is part of a system, they don't spawn without stars. They're even all named after the star they orbit, such as 'Betelgeuse 3'
