Does anyone know/participate in the Cyber Patriot? It's a cybersec competition held annually by the US Airforce to test the haxor skillz of Highschoolers. I recently made a team, and we just started to train. Is anyone in a team, or has any advice for my team?

It has a really creepy vibe where they call you a cyber warrior every other sentence.

For the cyber patriot competition I would recomend:
1) create general checklists for hardening systems running any Windows windows os (and seperate checklists for servers)
2) have antivirus program instalers and service packs on a flashdrive ahead of time
3) know how to change the network connection on a vm to a bridged connection
4) read the slide shows on the cyber patriot site (they usualy have specific settings in those that you may want to write down)
5)learn to use sysinternal tools like process explorer and autoruns
6) aim for the easy points first
7) constantly communicate with your team durring the competition & dont just have everyone qietly tunnel visioning on thier own image (if u run into somthing you cant figure out see if someone else can help u with it)
8) if you get stuck on something either ask for help from your team or write down a note to go back to it later & just move on
9) write down what you've already done (or check them off on a checklist)
10) start the updates and do them as fast as you can
11) know how to use netstat & sfc
12) do not defrag the vm
13) dont forget you can do things like search root directory for *.jpg or *.mp4
14) uninstall everything that you dont need
15) read the text files carefuly
16) mmc is your friend
