Basically, it's when AI becomes able to do anything a human can do, we call that Arificial General Intelligence, or AGI.
That means it can also design better versions of itself, and that version can do the same, and so on.
That means that it will improve exponentially, getting better and faster over time.
The implications for that are obviously huge, we would basically have a god on earth, it could solve all of our problems instantly.
