Both are TV antennas that aren't going to be tuned for the amateur bands. Antenna tuning matter a lot, as you'll start to learn when you study for your license.
The first one also uses a built-in preamplifier. You'll probably destroy it the moment you try to transmit through it.
Finally, both are designed for 75-ohm systems. Virtually all amateur radio equipment (and commercial two-way radio equipment) uses a 50-ohm system.

Like the TV antennas, it's a directional yagi. Unlike the TV antennas, it's actually designed for an amateur band (note the power rating). You'd probably need the appropriate cable and connectors, and note that it's designed only for the 2m / 144-148 MHz band - if you wanted to use the 70cm band, you'd need a different antenna.
