Does anyone here know anything about these images?

apparently they were received by a radio operator (Dr Prutchi) attempting to bounce signal off the moon. His gear was just set up for this in 2008. He was apparently involved in Project ARGUS which is crowd operated SETI programme. The image dates back about 2 years. An image search lead to a few forums abut never really settled as to whether it was legit or not.

I don't know whether this is a hoax or not.

I'll save you some time, the math is in base 6 and positional.

so:

/ is1

^ is 2

[/] is 7

[^] is 8

^[] is 12

^[/] is 13

/[][] is 36

/[/][] is 42

/[/][/] is 43

/[/][^] is 44

^[][] is 72

Apparently this came from an audio file converted with SoX. other people later did image manipulation to clean up the pictures.

its mostly just maths equations

'A' =

'–|' +

'–N' -

'F|' *

'>>' /

the last part of image is supposedly a picture of the aliens who sent the signal. and they have 6 finger so base 6 makes some sense.

curiously there is very little higher math which you might expect. there may be indications of primes —- may mean this.

one equation is half missing which may be indicating 31 as a prime.

the large rectangle at the end is about 800 x 150 the dark circles are 60. i believe inside it a geometric proof, it is indicating a calculation of similar to sqrt(2) = 305.47/216

the approximation they use is:

(sqrt((55*55) + (300*300)) + sqrt((60*60) + (300*300)) )/ 2

this is then divided by 216 aka /[][][] in their numbers

This gives sqrt(2) to 5 decimal places

in their numbers its closer to 7 'decimal' places.

So can anyone shed some light on this?

Any obvious hoax indications?

Making pictures in receiver waterfalls is nothing new. If I saw this on my radio, I would just assume some pirate is fucking around with moon bouncing equipment.

Your guess is as good as anyone else.

I'd like to concur with 614. I'd assume it's either the author fucking about or someone getting their rocks off.

So anything more concrete than that? Anything obvious to confirm or deny it?

Audio found.

So this is why we are not getting any messages back?

I'm pretty sure radio signals spread out over distance. Even with super sensitive equipment I would expect the signal to be more mal-formed. The aliums would have had to have a transmitter very close, or be broadcasting with ridiculous amounts of power.

aliens are real
