So how many of you have experienced how much more difficult it is to make and headway in any relationship as you get older? My take on it is that as experience and the 'worlds' we live in further diverge from each-other there is less reason and desire beyond the surface to interact.

hmm, kind of off topic but I think this also ties in with time perception- like how time seems to move slower when you're younger and faster when you're older. It has something to do with everyday being a bigger % of your total existence when you're younger and a smaller % of your total existence when your older. Similarly, time moves more quickly when you're having fun, and slowly when your not, possibly because more difficult experiences require you to think more.
