Tor is better than nothing. If the site was hosted on the clear net, and you accessed by Tor, they'll just see the IP of the Tor exit node, which is useless to them (unless they control enough nodes in the chain that they can back trace it, but I doubt they'd go through that much pain in the ass to get someone just for viewing). But do stay far away from the dark net. And use CCleaner just in case.
