Go layer by layer, select whatever is on top (usually apparent after a few seconds' look - whatever looks like an uninterrupted and unseparated pattern), and apply whatever mask is required to undo that layer.
Like in 92087, hold off on the pink junk to the right. That looks like it'll come together later after some flips. The green/gray junk on the left is split down the middle by a few columns, given away by the fact that they protrude above and below. So start with the pinkish stuff running vertically through the green/gray (make sure to select the entire correct area or it won't work) and see what happens when you apply different filters. When you break that layer, find the next one that's on top, and so on.
