What will the new (((Gun Laws))) will forbid now compared to before ?

Will Swiss people be able to purchase "illegal" weapons with the special permit just like before, which anyone who had no justice problem could buy?

Or now, we can't buy any semi-auto weapons whatsoever and we only can get the military SIG weapon after the military service?

So what are the restrictions now with the Gun Control? Is this Gun Control law just some paperwork/bureaucracy bullshit or are there actually weapons that we can't get anymore that we were able to get up to this point ?

The gun law in it self doesn't do a lot. The rifles with a capacity of 10 or more, the pistols with a capacity of 20 or more and the rifles of 60cm or less are now in the illegal weapon category. But the police say they will give automatically the autorisation for these three types of weapons, if you can prove that you shoot in a range. So now it will take more time and money than before to get a semi auto rifle. You can still get your weapon after your service.

The big problem is that the (((EU))) will harden the law every 5 years, and we can't be sure to get a votation.

Yeah, so it's a slippery slope to ban them all in the following years

Yeah, it's funny how the Swiss Confederation and partisan of the Gun Law omitted to say this out-loud, that it wasn't a "one time voting" but that we will be getting this in the ass every 5 years. This is soviet style disarmament.

And another question: Can you buy and keep ammunition home as easily as before ?

I've never hold a gun,but I always wanted to start this hobby but now, they are really screwing us.

Apparently, the new law doesn't affect the ammunition, for now.
