I can't be the only one that loves this, right? CRC has got to be my favorite so far though I've only played a few.

I've played pretty much all of the English stuff they have on Asenheim back in the day. A lot of them were pretty bad, like the Paradise Heights games and the C's Ware nukige, but some of them were great like Nocturnal Illusion, True Love, May Club and Season of the Sakura.

YU-NO is the best retro VN I've played (actually, best VN period), but I don't think that has enough hentai focus to be considered an eroge.

I just got through True Love and thought it was pretty great. Played a bit of May Club and I'm not liking that at all. I've heard Season of the Sakura was good so I'm saving that.

What made YU-NO so good?

I love YU-NO mainly because of its interesting story and point-and-click adventure style gameplay, rather than the typical click-until-a-choice-appears gameplay of most VNs. The art is also pretty great, considering the low resolution and 16-color limitations of the time (pics related).
