I'm dedicating this thread to my favorite slave trainer sim, Jack-o-nine-tails or as halfchan used to call it, Slavmaker.

It took me a while, but I think I finally got good at it. The learning curve is kinda steep, so if you have questions, post them here.

It's a filthy shack, it does not have a bath. If you want living conditions with actual hygiene, you're gonna have to rent some proper housing in the real estate office in White Town (It's one of the buildings in the trade square)

Here's a few tips for newcomers:
-max rank of slave = beauty OR fame. Fame can only gotten through winning in the coliseum, so chances are, only the gorgeous supermodels can get the highest ranks. Plastic surgery can raise beauty by one rank, but it's expensive.
always always ALWAYS get a checkup in the technosphere for a new slave . Especially if she was captured in battle. Some slaves have chestbursters in em and die horribly if left untreated.
Health and intelligence are important. Smarter slaves learn faster and healthier ones can do more work per day. Fitness training can be raised through exercise, but slaves with feeble or below fitness cannot do ANY physical exercise. They'll need supplements in their food to ever get better, and that takes time. My advice, don't buy feeble slaves.
Good sleeping arrangements (your bed) give your slave one extra energy per day
Try patrolling the borders of the fog while you have a slave. You may encounter a woman named Isabella, who becomes your loyal assistant for free. She is good at fighting and sex and decent at housekeeping, so she can supervise rebellious slaves, enable threesomes and take some of the housework off your shoulders, allowing more time for other things. Not sure what fires the event, but hey, free assistant.

There is a reward option to give your slave free time and send her to the hot springs for the cost of two sparks, this will make her happier and clean her. But there is no way for the slaver to go there. Also, choosing the 'slave assignemnts -> serve me -> wash me' options cleans up both the slave and the slaver. This does AFAIK require a bathroom. Acting build like any other skill, you/assistant/tutor/school trains her. From what I understand, efficiency depends on her affinity for that skill, her mood and her obedience. For obedience, you punish/threaten her for misbehavior, reward for good behavior. Think of how you would break a person.

Nope, all your money is going to come from sales. That being said, a really high ranking slave is worth a small fortune. A B rank slave is worth 2500 sparks, an A ranked one can be sold for up to 5000, and an S+ rank slave goes for as much as 10000 sparks.

Regarding obedience, that is not actually a stat like in Slave Maker, but a function of several factors:
-Master's looks, strength and assertiveness vs. slave's nature, pride, intelligence and temperament (stronger master personality = more base obedience)
-Fear (effective punishments scare her into submission)
-Awareness (a willful decision to become a slave through reason, achievable through rewarding good behavior)
-Taming (basically, the subconscious feeling that you are boss, can be acquired through punshiment + stronger personality, having her wear a steel collar or rough sex)
-Habit (Sorta like pavlovian conditioning, it's built by rewarding success and punishing failure, will happen in time)
-Devotion (The slave mentality, the acceptance of 'happiness in slavery', made by high obedience + continued good mood, you need at least level 3 devotion to make your slave an assistant. Hard to achieve, but she automatically gets better mood if she has devotion.)
Use the auspex spell for details on obedience. You can also use the 'How are you feeling about me' text messages to figure out her current obedience level, just need to know which message corresponds to what.
And don't be afraid to get rough if she refuses to carry out orders, a few lessons in humility are sometimes necessary to enforce compliance.

The slaver automatically improves a little every time he does something relevant, i.e. teach fighting, he becomes a better fighter and a better teacher, teach housework, he becomes a better steward and better teacher etc. It takes a while, but in time his skills will get better. Alchemy capability is determined by the slaver's magic skill. Even if you have none, you can still train it by casting auspex once per day. Learning magic will unlock some other spells, which are nice to have. You also need to have a house with an alchemy lab to train alchemy.

No worries, the extreme content is largely optional. Failed slaves get butchered for meat (which is grimdark as fuck and sadly happens way too often in real life). You don't have to eat people, but virgin meat is considered a delicacy in the setting. As for yuri, while it's not possible to play a female slaver, you can demand that your slave do a threesome/lesbian show. Some slaves are true lesbians, some are bi, most are straight.

Rating's determined by a number of things: her obedience, stats, skills and sex abilities. And unless she gets famous, she can never have a better rank than her looks, i.e. plain girls never get above D without plastic surgery. If you want more specifics on what she needs, post a screenshot of your slave's stats.

General advice: Get her to follow orders, avoid spoiling and despair, train her in a few professions and teach her how to fuck.

Definitely work on those sex skills, she looks way underfucked. Group sex is easy to level with a well-trained slave, since learning gangbang also raises double and triple penetration.
And for some reason, having an A or S-ranked non-sexual skill helps with getting a higher slave rank. Since she has talent singer, I'd recommend hiring a tutor or schooling her to until her singing skill is at a green S+. if your slaver doesn't have the artistic aptitude to train her beyond B rank. It's costly, but with a talented slave only takes a few sessions.

If you are trying to sell to some of the higher-ups in the game and they still reject your slave even though she meets requirements it's because of the charm stat. For those buyers in the residence areas and the slave guild contracts, they won't reject at all. Just brand her and meet the very minimum they ask for. If they DO reject, they will not accept that slave ever if you ask again so savescum before if you have to until you get the hang of it.

For those buyers like uncle Bo and the shops in White town, they can be so picky I gave up trying most of them. Hidden charm stat can come into play on some of these.

Then the leaders of each district have very high standards. On top of wanting A and S class slaves, you'll need to work on exoticism, style, etc. (style is most important unless they request exotic slave) Best bet is to keep her fear to a minimum while training. Keep that mood up and go for devotion while training these. They're going to take a bit of time anyways.

Try using your slaver's objectives tab and click on the links there. The special quests, guild contracts, and the leaders requests will all end up there after you take on one of their quests and can give good info.
One last tip helpful for training, click on the slave's rank and it will tell you what she needs to advance.

Definitely. When you're first starting out and you want to do some quick D or C class slaves for profit, try to avoid the super arrogant types (you can end up spending too much time) or use the spell that creates fear/punish her when guilty to create a couple fear. This will turn her obedient super fast and you can get her trained quickly to rank up. It's possible to get the time down to a day or two depending on the slave and what is needed and then sell for 500 sparks.

Also avoid spending time raising any of a slave's main stats for these quick money slaves (again that can take a lot of time)
And don't get too crazy with your housing/cost of living. Try to stick to the quarter of the outcasts or serpentine place for a while if you play story mode.

Check these stats when you get a new slave. If they're all close to low at the start, you can't let the total sum of those stats fall below 3 or it breaks her. To avoid it, don't punish excessively, or force her to do things she doesn't want, or alternatively you could try to raise one or more of those stats. None of them raise quickly though, and you can't raise pride, only lower.

Not entirely true, It's hard but I've seen a mostly unproblematic slave go up from fastidious to proud when she was on lax rules for a time. Winning competitions and ignoring rules can raise pride. Of course, there's quite a few ways of degrading a slave to get rid of it. Very high pride (haughty/arrogant) seems more resistant to being eroded than the mid-range stuff. Took a lot of pissing in her mouth to bring one of my arrogant ones down to size.

Found something new out today. If you are renting a dungeon you can click here to brand your slave right at home instead of taking her to uncle bo's. This can help offset cost of dungeon if you rent one full-time. It can even take the place of a punishment, very handy early on.

They go away, the speed which they disappear depends on your doctor skill. If you have an assistant with higher medic than you it most likely goes with the higher one.

You can also try things like giving slave free time, massages etc. but I have no idea if that does anything for healing faster or not. Doc skill I know for sure affects it.

If you're playing on some high difficulty character in story mode and have real low skill, the medical gown gives you +1 doctor when equipped.

First off, if you are in need of an assistant and playing story mode, get Isabella to join you. She is in the border of the fogs, but you have to move out of the starter shack then visit there. She is a great assistant and the best part is she's free.

If I was going for an assistant other than her though I would probably just find one while I'm training slaves. Not that ordering slaves is bad, I've just only done it once. I ordered through the guild and it did take a while, also she came with a ton of skills pre-learned. I don't remember if she already had devotion at the start though, which is needed to make her assistant. You may have to play around in sandbox mode to see if ordering is worth it.

Again though, Isabella is the way to go at least til you want something different. She has full nature so slaves will listen to her, 3 devotion to you, and comes with skills already learned.

Logged way too many hours into this game now, but here are some of the things I've learned:
1) acquire assistant (see my previous post)
2) Buy some cheapass slave from the market

2a) Take her to the Technodome - Medical and have a checkup on her. Also do the Neoplasty + Sterile combo, that will cut down the amount of days from 20 - 5 in rehabilitaion.

3) Put her in the Boudoir, give her Normal food.
4) Don't set too strong rules in the beginning, start up with just a few. If she misbehaves, punish her accordingly (usually only a level 1).
5) Train her in Maid/Cooking/Secretary/Nurse
6) Only give her a Reward 1/day, but make sure it corresponds to her accomplishment
7) Ones you've done this one or two days, start training her in sexual acts. Fetish is good to bring down her pride, so is zoophilia.
8) Keep training her in sexual acts. Once you have a C concubine, sell her for 1000 sparks (or gamble on the slavers market).
9) Do this 2-3 times, then spend some time training up your assistant. Have her max out Maid, Cooking, Nurse and Accounting. One this is reached you can have your assistant train your next slave in these abilities, it will save you a lot of energy.

The tutorial explains it all and I'd recommend going through it at least once as there is a lot to cover, but here goes;

-Aim of the game is to sell the girls at a high price by increasing their RANK
-RANK will never increase above natural BEAUTY stat without plastic surgery to increase BEAUTY or if they are insanely FAMOUS (through winning fights/races in the coliseum)
-All stats work on a colour coded system with GREEN at the top and RED at the bottom - GREEN being S+ and RED being F-, with the other colours being A, B, C & D.
-TRAITS are buffs/debuffs to certain things, like ACCUSTOMED TO PAIN would make beating a slave useless as it doesn't scare her, or HYSTERIC where you need to verbally reward her or she'll get all pissy. Some will give bonuses to training certain skills like NYMPHOMANIAC, others will make them harder like FRIGID. You can find clues to these by TALKING to your slave (? icon next to her portrait) if she's opened up enough - they don't often tell you their fears right away but if they really want to be a nurse they'll let you know
-Core stats are hard to increase but the game tells you how to do this if you click the portrait of the slave and click each stat down the left in turn - on the bottom of the page is a description of how it works
-Items on the right are Skills, to train these click the Mortorboard hat symbol and then the skill you want to train - they come in two types, SKILLS and SEXUAL
-Success in training depends on (a) MOOD, needs to be in the GREEN (below her portrait), (b) SUBMISSION, check the PRIDE stat, if it's too close to ARROGANT you won't get anything done, and (c) SKILL of the trainer, your character levels up slightly every time you train a skill, but you can't be taught by a TUTOR or SCHOOL like a slave can so it takes longer. -SEXUAL training has nothing to do with your own or your assistant's level in any of the skills, it all depends on how open and happy the slave is
-NOTE: some skills will increase several stats, saving time, eg; THREESOME will increase SEX and ANAL SEX so max that first if you have an assistant, then spam ORGY as it will increase all the group sex skills as well as SEX and ANAL SEX. BLOWJOB will also increase DEEPTHROAT and BUKKAKE, SEDUCTION and FITNESS TRAINING will increase DANCING, and most importantly SCATOLOGY will increase GOLDEN SHOWER and decrease PRIDE, so if your slave is an uppity little bitch set her as a toilet and leave her a couple days to learn her lesson
-RULES are pretty self explanatory, if your slave is new be sure to set FORCE RULES and if your own DOMINANCE skill (click your slaver portrait to check your own skills) she'll do anything you tell her
-REWARDS and PUNISHMENTS are also easy - when your slave does anything, you'll see either a RED or GREEN number under her portrait, if it's RED punish her and if it's GREEN reward her, but keep the level of what you do equal or lower to the number or you'll depress or spoil her respectively (the rewards/punishments run from 1 to 5 top to bottom)
-ACTIVE SEX is just that, you fuck her. Keep an eye on the stats to the right during, and you'll see what effect you're having. She needs to be willing to fuck you though, so you better be clean and powerful so she can't say no

Finally, get to WHITE TOWN and the CENTRAL FORUM as soon as you're able and check out the SPECIAL MISSIONS - they give you no money for completing them but do give bad-ass artifacts to equip on your slaver to make training easier.

Slave has to be branded to be sold. You either need to head to Uncle Bo's over in Outcasts part of town, or you can do it for free if you are paying for a dungeon at your home.

The job types are based on their skills, they need to have at least B (blue text) rating in the skill for the job (Nursing to be a Nurse, Alchemy for Enchantress, etc). Concubine is the odd one in that it requires a whole bunch of sexual skills to be raised up. I can't recall the exact number, but I think it's something like B in 2 skill groups, and C/D in most of the rest. Also, for higher skill slave sales, the slave must have a skill in their primary requirement of not only a minimum B rating, but equal to their slave rating if they qualify for higher.

Beyond that, be sure your slave is cleaned up before trying to sell, and if you are going for a higher rating sale, consider forking over the little extra cash to get them manicured/hairstyled/whatever as well as new clothes if they are naked to improve Charm for the pickier buyers.

I made a mini FAQ for this game that I never got to post. I'll dump it here.

Jack v 1.12 MiniFAQ

Apologies for how poorly organized this is, this is my first attempt ever at writing an "FAQ". Think of this more as a collection of useful "Hints and Tips" and that might be more appropriate.


Q: What do the words on the Auspex screen mean?

- Obedience as a number from -9 to 9. After that is the status of the "Masters Supremecy" relative to the slave. -5 to 5.
- Slaves Lust level. (arousal in code)
- Slaves Fearlevel.
- Slaves Angst Level (this is the one to watch for negative effects, equates to despair/depression).
- Slaves Rational Level (this represents their "rational" acceptance of being a slave.)
- Slaves Instinct Level (this represents their instinctual behavior to obey their master)
- Slaves Custom Level (this represents how accustomed they are to doing as they are told)
- Slaves Spoil Level (Goes up if you over reward a slave, has negative effects on many interactons)
- Slaves Moral Level (I think this ought to be "morale" in the source code, but represents their devotion)


With the exception of Obedience most of these numbers are rated on a scale of 0 to 4. Essentially you want more of everything except for Angst. Fear in and of itself isn't a bad trait to have in many cases, but it often comes with Angst, so a high fear indicator represents large amounts of previous abuse and threatening even if Angst is relatively under control.

Q: What does explaining to a Slave her fate do?

It can potentially increase the "Rational" stat. Your domination (aura) plus the slaves intellect have the slaves pride and any current rebellious attitude (I think this may be negative obedience) subtracted from it. The results will be from 0 to 3 rate increase. You get the best rate increase only if the slaves Obedience is at 4 or higher already. Best used on slaves with high Intelligence and Pride (well, low pride from our perspective - you want at least Proud or above rating. Arrogant and Haughty will basically concieve no effect, the same with stupidity)

Q: What does encouraging a Slave do?

This can dramatically improve the "mood" of a slave. The effect is based on your supremacy plus the slaves devotion (Moral) rating. It's best to use this before training a slave so that you can get their mood up to improve their dilligence in doing tasks and hence be able to reward them better and further increase mood.

Q; What does threatening a Slave do?

Probably the worst interaction from a game perspective. It can potentially increase the Slaves Fear value as well as your domination of them at the cost of a lot of "mood". If you are going to use this, it's best to use it before you use the Explain interaction to boost the effects of both.

Q: What does giving a Slave a new name do?

Obviously, it gives them a new name. It also reduces mood by their Nature and Pride. Don't use this with a new slave, there are unfortunately no upshots to this other than being a dick. Which… is probably appropriate.

Q: How do I manage my Slave's weight?

First, make sure you have atleast rank 2 Medical (buy the doctors outfit for yourself if you need to, it gives +1 to this stat). This allows you to see your Slaves "fat" rating next to the calorie counter on their character screen. Simply manipulate calories on a daily basis until you achieve the desired result. Fat appears to have a ranking of 0 to 5 before going up/down to the next tier.

Q: How are calories consumed over night?

The following calories are deducted "behind the scenes" every night. This happens before calculations of starvation or metabolism.

- 1 Calorie by default.
- 1 Calorie if Slave is not a Loli.
- 1 Calorie if the Slave is pregnant.
- 1 Calorie if the Slave is lactating.
- 1 Calorie if the slave has a parasite.
- 2 Calories if the Slave is laying eggs.

So as you can see, a Lactating, Egg Laying adult Slave will consume 5 calories by default every night.

Q: What are the effects of Metabolism on a Slave?

If your Slave has body fat and excess calories at the end of a night then your metabolism will remove excess calories down to 0 based on it's ranking. This is after other overnight deductions. This is why it's harder for Slaves with a good metabolism to get fat than ones with a weak metabolism.

Q: How do you fix starvation?

This can be annoying if you have Slaves that are already feeble, or ones that have body modifications that consume calories. The easiest way to fix this as well as increase their Stamina is to "over feed" them until their fat level is above 1 and keep doing so. A good metabolism will make this harder than you expect. Also, starving a slave intentionally will make it's Rational stat increase by the starvation rate. Dangerous to their health but gets compliance quickly. If you're going to have an egglaying, lactating slave, then make sure they have high Stamina or they will quickly injure their health by doing any work other than sitting there.

Q: What are the effects of various foods?

Not as much as you might think. Mostly it revolves around cost with the following exceptions:

- Fiends cum will gradually increase a Slaves perversion. They will have bad moodlets until their perversion gets high enough however. It's also "free" as in it costs no Sparks. A good hint is once a Slave stops complaining about the food, they're probably not going to complain about scat or bukkake parties either.

- Table scraps will give a positive moodlet if the food quality is higher than their Pride (inverse). Also it adds a random amount of calories for the next day.
- Fresh food adds a positive moodlet. Also it costs 2x as much.

Q: What do vitamins do?

If your medical skill is higher than the Slaves stamina than it adds an additional Stamina gain over just over feeding. Definately doesn't work like how the tool tip describes. Also it costs 1 spark per day. Yes, this does mean you can give a Stamina bonus to Slaves who are healthy if your Medical is high enough.

Q: How does Slave healing work?

This is pretty straight forward. Slaves with higher stamina heal faster than those who don't. Your Medical skill as well as your Assistants nursing skill are added to this. Poor hygene when you end the day has a negative impact on wound healing as expected.

Q: What are the effects of Slaves menstral cycles?

On the day of their period they get a negative moodlet. Counting 9 days from this day, you have a 7 day period to inseminate a Slave if you want to get her pregnant, or force her to start laying eggs.

Q: How many eggs will a Slave lay if she gets pregnant?

Their age (constant) + stamina + random 3-6 + their fat level.

Q: How much milk and cream will a Slave produce?

The actual formula is very long and kind of derpy. To summarize however = The larger a slaves boobs and the older she is and the more body fat and mood she has, the more milk and cream she produces. Makes sense for a cow huh?

Q: What the hell do I do with all these eggs and milk and cream?

Don't worry about it. The games inventory system is terrible, but every night if you run out of space in your fridge it will start deleting milk, eggs and cream until you have space available for groceries. I know, I think it's a bad system too.

Q: How do you reduce Angst?

Easy answer, You need high mood. A high "Empathy" value also helps. Low mood and low Empathy will increase Angst dramatically.

Q: How do I get Devotion (Moral) up on my Slave?

This goes up over night. The only real requirements are that the slave cannot have any Angst and must have a positive Mood before going to bed. Fear can screw this up because it reduces Mood before this effect gets applied. The wedding dress has a hidden daily boost to this. So it's very much worth acquiring if you want to train a slave up to A/S+ class.

Q: How do I get my Slaves Stamina back up to Healthy?

Probably the most annoying thing is fixing an unhealthy Slave. First make sure they have some body fat, this is important. Then ensure that you over feed them so that they have calories left at the end of the day and above their minimum required due to factors like age, lactation, egglaying, etc. Finally, try to give them the free time reward at the end of the day with at least 1 star of energy left - this has a significant impact on their Stamina gain. If you find your slave is still not healing up quickly enough, check to make sure she doesn't have a disease or is pregnant (both reduce stamina gain) and possibily put her in the cryostorage and train your assistant in nursing. Your medical skill and your assistants nursing skill can provide a bonus to healing feeble/weakened slaves. Also, if your Medical skill is at least blue, then you can use Vitamins to provide an additional bonus.

Q: What good is fame for?

Famous Slaves can be trained up to ranks higher than their Beauty value. Also, they sell for more and your Brand Reputation will increase. So yes, you can even train Isabella up to S+ rank if you get her started on the Gladiatrix pits on day 1.

Q: What good is the Deny Orgasm rule?

When you don't allow a Slave to orgasm it builds up their arousal rate (arousal rate also decrease mood over night, so be careful). When she finally does release then her mood will go up significantly. Also, if you have the deny orgasm rule on and your Slave doesn't cum (the stimulation is below her obedience to you) then she will gain an increase towards Sensitivity. If however she cums anyway, then she will gain an increase towards Temperment (as well as Sin and needing to be punished). This can be an interesting cycle if you continuously reward a cumming Slave with sex and then punishing her with shame.

I liked this game a lot. It's inspired me to make an updated and better web based version of the game. I'm still in the process of coding the engine but hope to have a playable prototype done by the end of next month.

I've been thinking a lot about different modes of play. I want to have some meta-games such as -

Being able to get a "job" for your slave that is a career path that depends on you training them.

Train a girl in "pet skills" for instance and she could do jobs like:


Lvl 1 - Street Performer (begging, doing tricks)
Lvl 2- Milk Maid (masturbates animals for cum)
Lvl 3 - Animal Show Performer (donky show)
Lvl 4 - Pet Escort (hire out petgirl)

I don't actually know much about Action Script (other than it's derived from ECMA script) so I'm afraid I can't give you much advice about it. The way I learned to program was doing first boring stuff in C/C++ then moving onto scripting jobs (perl, python, php) then to Java, then .NET C# - Obviously I picked up ECMA/JS along the way (which is what I am using now to make this game).

Honestly, I think the best thing you can do is try to get some source files of something that is similar to what you want to do and then hack it apart to learn.

Look up towards the top left where it says what her current rank is, then click the current rank letter and it should pop up a window explaining what skill types need to go up to level her higher, or if her basic traits are too low to even bother. It's a really terrible method to make money at the start. For starters, most slaves won't net you more than ~30 sparks, and if you get injured the costs of curing yourself in the technosphere easily outweigh the gains from scouting the border of fogs, and you also need to take into account the costs from rent and food, unless you're still in the slums in which case maybe you could actually make a profit from the border of fogs, but it's a terrible idea. Training slaves to D rank is much faster and a more reliable method to earn money.

To improve your own skills, train slaves in the desired skill and it will SLOWLY increase. Don't rely too much on this though, just keep training and it will happen, but don't expect to grind yourself to all green within the first 10 or 20 slaves.

Next, to get good prices in the auction you need reputation, to get reputation you need to sell slaves. If you go to diary in your character's screen you can check how popular your brand is and how well known you are in each district, once you get popular enough in a district they'll let you into their special building and there you can find people that will buy high quality slaves, A and above. I suggest training D-C-B tier slaves and selling them to people from the districts until your brand is popular enough. Going for an S+ for your first slave is way overkill.

Actually, most of the extreme stuff can be avoided. You do not have to force your slave to eat shit or fuck a dog, though it can be useful to do so to break excessive pride.
There are however a few high-ranking customers who ask specifically for extreme stuff. One wants a loli toilet, another wants someone accustomed to bestiality, but you also have requests like 'a girl that looks good with a heavy bolter'. Thankfully, there are no proper scat graphics in the vanilla game
As for the cannibalism, the fluff says that it happens sometimes in Eternal Rome, because food is scarce - it's essential an inter-dimensional hub that many can enter but it is very difficult to leave, everything agricultural has to be imported and more and more hungry mouths keep pouring in. So only people (i.e. not slaves) can afford decent meals. You can butcher slaves for meat (automatically happens if she dies), but it is not very profitable. Usually, you want to keep your slave alive because you won't get much return of inverstment from a corpse.

Okay, Nature ('ego' in the code) is modified by fuck all. Golden Cage increases it, winning in the arena increases it by the same amount as five Golden Cage rewards. Conversely, it's reduced by rape, angst, pet rule, and wearing a dog/leather/slave collar, anal tail, pony plume, or ponygirl harness - so if you've got any of those going on you're not going to be making any progress. I've got a funny feeling that's what your problem is.

Just keep sending her to the Golden Cage - as long as there isn't anything reducing her Nature you'll get there eventually, pretty sure within ten times. Ideally you want a slave with good Nature in the first place.

In the version I play, I disabled the thing that makes you stop gaining reputation with some houses because you're too close to others, as well as creating a specialized mage character to play in Story mode.

Keep in mind that if the game is modified at all, previous saves no longer work.

I'm pretty sure that'd be possible, but it's pretty damn ambitious to make anything that wasn't incredibly shallow. Pretty sure I could, say, make it so you can put slaves into jobs in places that makes you a passive income, but it'd be extremely bare-bones - it'd pretty much be like putting your slave into cryo-storage but you get paid for it based on her skills. If that's the sort of thing you're after I can whip it up, but if you want something more detailed I'm going to need more details to go on.

Anyway, here's the version with the unlimited rep and Mage background. You should also be able to reach max rep with all houses at once with this, including promotion to Patrician. The Mage background replaces the nerd - he's got 4 levels in magic and two each in fighting and medicine, but he's bottomed out in pretty much everything else. It's still very doable because magic is fucking broken as shit. Tremendio can turn all but the most stubborn of slaves into a whimpering ball of terrified obedience, magical brands slowly build habit, and being able to brew love potions as soon as you get your hands on fiend mucous is ridiculously powerful. He uses the unused 'vampire' master image that comes with the game.

I also took off the mood debuff from formal clothes because for some reason it can sometimes get 'stuck' and you have to live with it forever, even after you take the clothes off, and I can't figure out what's causing the bug. Drove me nuts. Also keep in mind that this won't be compatible with any existing slaves, nor will saves made with this be compatible with the unmodified game - nothing I can do about it, far as I can tell the game checks the checksum and refuses to load saves if it doesn't match.

To use it, replace (ideally after backing up) jack.qsp in the Jack-o-nine-tails folder.

For those with the same problem but don't want to start over with a new version: Vanilla mindbreak mechanics, which I just refreshed my knowledge of while finding and disabled them, are thus: If a slave's temperament plus nature plus pride are less than three, she breaks. If her temperament plus nature is less than two, she breaks. For temperament and nature, red is 0, pink is 1, purple is 2, and so on. For Pride, Green is 0, light green is 1, and so on.

So don't rush to break her pride if she's got shit nature and temperament, and be careful with the nature-eroding stuff (rape, pony training, collars, buttplug-tails, toilet, silence rule). Temperament is easy to build up - give her boots and a spiked collar and it'll build up day by day, and once it's nice and high you can go nuts on her.

Looked into this for you - the way the rules work in the game is they're cleared if you don't have a slave at any point, whether because you sold her, she died, or you put her into storage. I could adapt the way assistant rules work to make it 'remember' the rules and apply it to the next slave you receive, but that seems like that'd be just as bad if not worse - I can easily see myself accidentally breaking a slave because I forgot she'd have the same rules applied to her as the one I just sold did.

To make it so that each slave has their individual rules saved would require mucking with the array that slaves are stored in when they're put into the cryochamber, and I'm not sure I remember enough about how arrays work to make it happen. About the jobs, how about some sort of brothel? There's not much to do towards the late game, so adding a growing business model could keep us entertained for a longer while when we've already sold the high quality slavers to the buyers. You could make it so that after getting to a certain level of brand popularity (B or A, for instance) you could rent or build a separate building with an initial small set of rooms which you can expand with more money where you can put slaves that satisfy certain requisites to prostitute themselves (high beauty, high devotion, sex skills, etc). And they earn money based on their abilities but also their mood and attributes (an apathetic slave would be boring in bed so she costs less than a lively slave, etc). Depending on their personality (whether they have certain traits or not) they would either remain happy at their job or lose stats/become depressed while in it. If a slave is really popular the slaver could start getting offers to buy her by the most influential clients for themselves, and choose whether to accept or not or hold a private auction, or something like that.

It would also be neat if the slavers could get more "personality" and "actions" so that they are more unique, so to speak, but this will require a lot more thinking on exactly what should be added and how.

Part of this seems like it could be doable. What leaps immediately to mind is essentially a new place to 'sell' slaves to that unlocks at high rep and costs a lump sum to get started, and by 'selling' slaves to it you get a passive income. Though this would be a pretty low on customization - I could make it so you could choose between different things but at the end of the day there'd be 'slots' for pre-programmed girl types.

For instance, say a four-room brothel, and in one room you could choose between, say, a high-traffic group sex room or a room for a more intimate and expensive courtesan, and the former would require toughness and group sex skills and the latter fucking and touch and etiquette. And once you 'sell' a girl into that slot she'd work there permanently.


Having girls work in the brothel but still be under the slaver's control would be trickier but still doable, though I'm not so sure that it'd be a great idea - having to manage the mood of one slave is a challenge, having to juggle five brothel slaves would either be a nightmare of micromanagement or require a complete revamp of the slave interaction mechanics, at which point you might as well start building up from a different game entirely.

At the end of the day this is a game about training slaves, and while training them to fill slots in a brothel fits that theme, actually micromanaging that brothel doesn't. That's just my opinion, though.

I am no master when it comes to coding, but i have some suggestion that could add something to the game, but it is to you to judge if it is doable and if it doesn't need a substantial amount of work and time:

- Add more special items with special effects useful for the PC (other than the ones that you get from "Special missions", those are the ones in the game as far as i know.)

- The Brothel idea seems a nice idea but as you said it is ambitious

- Add more "events" that gets you special slaves ("custom story" like the only event in the game, again as far as i can tell)

Special slave events are certainly doable, I'd just have to ape the code for Isabella and switch the variables. The code's split between something like eight different sections and totals up to as many as a thousand lines though, so it'd be a chunk of work for each one.

Kidnapping for brainwashing seems to be fraught with potential plot holes and problems, but another way to implement the same idea is to specially train a slave to replace a shopkeeper. A lot of training, a bit of cosmetic surgery and a night-time ambush and bam, the trainer's got a puppet in place and nobody's the wiser. Much easier to code than trying to figure out how to represent a 'missing' shopkeeper for the duration of the kidnapping, too.

While I do love these ideas and don't in any way wish to discourage anyone from voicing them, what I need more is some actual fluff. Just a vague outline of a specific scenario and a few lines of in-game messages to go with it takes most of the burden of creativity off my shoulders and just leaves the code to write, which is very easy for me to lose myself in.

It takes 5 points in sexual categories to get to C rank, 12 for B. That's the categories, mind you, not the individual skills. This can be sped up a fair bit because some skills are tied together - IIRC, training blowjobs raises deepthroat, training dildo raises masturbation, training self-torture raises masochism, training scatology raises golden shower, and training gangbang raises triple penetration, double penetration, and to a lesser extent sex and anal sex all at once.

If I want to make a quick C-rank, I'd work on her non-sexual skills first and let her obedience build up, and then when it's just sexual skills left to reach the goal I'd max out blowjobs and dildo, which oral pleasure and demonstration up to two points each, and then train whatever else takes my fancy for that final point. This can take as little as three days with a sufficiently obedient slave.

For a B-rank, I'd work on her obedience even more, then run her through a gauntlet of gangbang. It usually takes more than a day to max it out because the obedience cap for learning that is so high, and once it's done you're going to want to take her to the clinic to make sure she didn't catch something or get pregnant, but that's three points in group sex and one in penetration. Then self-torture/blowjob/dildo adds another six points and there's just two points left to the goal of twelve.

But this is just personal preference - as long as you haven't let your personal finances get out of control, you can take pretty much any path and it doesn't matter awfully much. Worst case scenario, stick your latest project in cryostorage and train up a D-rank or two to pay the bills. Once you've got it down - and it sounds like you do - you can buy, train and resell two or even three D-rank slaves a week.

Turns out the hardest part was me obsessively tweaking the checkboxes two or three pixels at a time to get them to line up right with the text. There's now a food portion level called 'Nutritionist' which will reset fat to 0 at the end of each day for 5 sparks a day, meaning a slave's weight will remain stable no matter how much or little they do in a day.

From previous changes I made, this version also has the 'pierce everything' button at the tattoo parlour and a 'full beauty treatment' at the salon to save you precious clicks, with thanks to the_vm for the code.

Some of them are pretty ambitious and requires a lot of work but I'd rather throw it out there and see what you do with it than not say it at all. Maybe the guy doing a browser version picks it up.

Special Items: An item for the assistant that makes them immune to fog-fiend insemination and an item that makes slaves like the fiend cum. You'd think someone that gets off on someone shitting in their mouth wouldn't be so picky.

Make it so I can go back to training D or C level girls for the guild after I've passed on to B level.

You've talked about a brothel but how about working other jobs as well? Just leave them in stasis at one of the bars ,for example, and get a flat rate of money back. Basically a stasis pod that has requirements and gives money instead of taking. Hard mode: Minus costs for food, have to get extra rooms for them to sleep in and give them chances for promotion to earn more money if they have the skills.

Brothel suggestions:

Street prostitution before you can buy and maintain a brothel with a chance of them getting attacked and have to defend themselves or them trying to run away from you.

Drugs and addiction. Get them addicted to drugs so they have to come back to you to get their fix. Detrimental to health but adds obedience.

Male slaves:

This might be a whole lot of work. Train them to do jobs other than sexual. As guards for the brothel or other property. Make them a requirement to kidnap and replace shopkeepers. Hard Mode: New skills like thieving and mugging. Then usurp a ruler when you have enough of them at a high enough level and your female slaves are high up at their workplaces

Also let them work at other businesses in the city like the female slaves.

Buying property:

Pay a large sum of money for a factory or the like and get monthly money in return. Hard Mode: Staff it with your own slaves and make the monthly money depend on the quality of your workers. Smithing and other craftsmanship skills for male slaves that works in the factory.

Picking what level to train on commission should be pretty simple, won't guarantee it for next version in case there's some complication but I'll give it the ol' college try.

'Stasis pod' jobs is the simplest way to implement jobs, and doesn't even require any creativity - just make it available wherever you can sell slaves, with a couple of exceptions. The only tricky part is working out how to handle the income for them, but I'll probably just use a similar system to what happens if you capture a slave on the fog boundary when you already have one, and just have the sparks pile up until you go collect them from… the guild, I suppose. Maybe I'll add a new button to the guild menu.

Street prostitution is doable, and I'd be able to use pre-existing assets for the sex scenes, but unless it's entirely dry ('made twenty sparks fuckin' dudes, here they are') it'll take a lot of scene writing. Might go with the dry section for now and maybe replace it later if creativity strikes or if someone ponies up the scenes for it.

Drugs… there's already drugs in the game, though I've never used them. How is the current implementation falling short? Though I had an idea for a magic item that makes the PC's semen addictive, giving the slave a loyalty boost at the expense of a health reduction every time sex happens. Though not sure how the player should acquire this item.

Male slaves would be a lot of work and added assets for a thing that doesn't appeal to the boners of most of the players, and there's not many roles for them that women slaves can't fill - it's a fantasy sex game, let's not argue about relative male vs female strength. If there's a niche for them, I reckon the best way would be to be able to buy them from the Guild instead of training them up yourself, since most of the crowd here are most likely not into dudes. Though I mean no disrespect for those of you that like dudes, I'm a switch-hitter myself.

The factory idea is definitely a good one - a way to go maximum CAPITALISM, HO without me (or some other contributor) having to flesh out a brothel storyline, as well as give a late-game slaver more to do.

So in summary, fiend fetish item, commission rank option, a few basic 'stasis pod' jobs and maybe a bare-bones street prostitution system penciled in for version 4 of the mod, which I'll very tenuously say could be out in the next few days. That's a pretty good idea but the health reduction limits it's use a fair bit. Maybe as a quest item in return for a lot of spawn semen and/or a cum-slut themed slave. Maybe a long lasting potion could have that effect either give it to the slave or if the PC can drink it.

About the jobs. Could we have different tiers of them to account for promotions and different skill levels?

At the medical clinic for example:

Janitor: Light green in cooking and cleaning and at least purple in smarts, health, empathy etc.

Nurse: All of the above + blue nurse training and blue in the attributes that make sense

Doctor: Green in all the skills required so far plus alchemy, accounting and etiquette. Light green in the attributes that make sense.

Alternatively, use the ranking system. Just require a basic knowledge in the job they are applying for and use rank for the rest. D for janitor C for nurse and A or B for Doctor but that system feels pretty easy to game with fame and sex skills and I prefer a more detailed description like I wrote above. If you're interested I could come up with 2-3 tiers for each job, the requirements for them, wages and then pastebin it if you want to get straight to the coding.

I think you'd need to be able to employ several slaves per work-place to get any decent money going. At least if you're going to restrict wages to a level that makes sense from the employers POV.

It would be good to have requirements on extra rooms in your house to employ slaves too since they would still be living with you instead of being sold. The food can be simulated by deducting it from wages and just pay them less. I would like it for balance reasons since otherwise you might be able to train 10 D level slaves and have all of your upkeep costs covered and basically never have to sell another slave unless you want to buy something in particular. I'm not sure If you have requirements on rooms but making an extra room cost 500 or 1000 per room would be an effective way of making sure you don't get OP too early. If it's a lot of work to add extra bedrooms to the real-estate office I think I've found a quick but dirty solution. Just pay 500 or 1000 to whoever you're employing them with and then get the money back if you're taking the slave back.

True, and come to think of it it would make training sexual skills a pain. Maybe have it slowly erode intelligence/nature/temperament instead, making it a useful tool for quick-and-dirty breaking in of slaves but not useful for making higher-tier slaves. Perhaps even add a variation on mindbroken where they're still sellable as sex slaves but not for any other role. I'll see what the code can be convinced to do.

I'd appreciate this, I was just going to use the existing ranking system but this would make things more interesting. No need to write up every job at once, that'd be a pretty big task. Even just doing the write-up for the jobs of one location would do for starters.

I can understand the appeal, and I think there's potential in that idea, I just don't think the existing slave-training framework really fits for building up said army, a better way would be for the PC to be able to build that up through one or all of stat checks, sparks being spent, and extremely loyal slaves to act as lieutenants.

Speaking of fetish/utility add ons, I'd really be about a "Stable" extension to the house.
Basically a dungeon code copy without tortures and hardship bonuses and maluses (well less maluses, at least, so they not die of deprivation and despair).
Where you could give the double/triple amount of food like the other active slaves (unlike the dungeon - to make them fat, ye see…) and get the eggs/milk/cream like the slave in the dungeon already gives.

On another point, there's some "trait xp" you can gather to get from the 0th to 1st level of some traits (basically everything about phobias and perversions) which are both hidden (you can only see the -1st and 2nd level, when a slave have them). In my own game I copied/pasted the bloc so you can get to the last level with enough work (so I can, among a lot of things, turn in the long run every slave into a Pervert, except if she has the -1 trait). Maybe this little thing may have some advocates here.

I think there should be two types of jobs for slaves - one where they're working for someone else (such as the Virgin's Hip) that makes a small amount of passive income and requires a smaller deposit (about 500 or so) to start up, and a larger one where the player opens and runs their own business staffed by slaves they've trained. I meant to put it down as both. The point of the arena was three-fold. FIrstly, that the slave isn't technocally a slave anymore because it sounded weird to me that a slave could hold an owners position. Secondly, it's another hoop for the player to jump through to further prevent them from getting it too early. Thirdly, if they come back out of devotion it's a sign that you can fully trust them.

I'm writing it as they take over the entire business except the front that the player actually sees. It's basically no different than pay a larger sum of cash and get more in return.

For 1: As you suggested, a managerial position would side-step the issue entirely.

For 2: Maxing out obedience/awareness/taming/habit is more difficult but has more ways of doing it than making a slave arena champion, making it a more suitable hoop IMO. The arena's once-every-ten-days timetable makes it more busywork than difficulty, especially since a skilled player can have a slave able to become champion and obedient enough to come back within about ten days but they still have to twiddle their thumbs for forty more.

For 3: That's true. A way to solve that would require auspex to be one to make a slave the manager, so a slaver would be putting someone he knows for a fact is entirely obedient in the position of power. Plus it'd be less ambiguous - IIRC the dialogue for a slave returning to you after being named arena champion suggests that she may have just not known what else to do.

And apart from that it just seems more fitting to me that the slaver outright owns everyone in his employ.

It'd take some modifying of the food code to make it so that excess eggs or milk get sold off instead of jamming up the fridge, but that should be doable. The simplest way to implement it is to have something like the cryotube except there's a skill and modification requirement to put a girl in there: green pet skill, loose vagina and egg modification for one slot, green pet skill, large breasts and milk modification for the other.

I'll take a look at it now and see how viable it is, if it's as straightforward as I think then a barn add-on will be in the next version of hggmod. If so, you want to be credited as Alploochra?

I tried to tune the numbers so that you *can* teach a slave anything but it's *beyond* a normal use of the fetishes. It may need more tuning, but an utilitarian use of punishments and so on isn't enough to go to level 2, you really need to want it to make it happen with 25xp; even for deprivation (you can't just let her in prison this long). The only grey zone is the Perversion one, because it can happen passively with the scat rule (at the cost of hygien) and the fiendish food rule. I'm all about the last part, personally… She just happened to fuel the last four decades or so with the stuff (the main advantage of the Pervert trait is to give positive mood about fiend cum).
BUT, I'm totally about "something brainwash-y and perverse" too. Oh yeah.


About the barn:

From what I understand of the code (not all of it) perhaps it would be quicker to copy/paste the dungeon code, except some parts of the next_day thing that totally f*ck up the slave (deprivation and so on - to keep her in some use, despair for example is killing milk production too). It even would synergies with the broken rule, which make Custom go to 5, and Custom/Habit also boosts milk production.
Should broken be a requirement, in your mind ?

On the point of one egg slave / one milk slave, is there some negative aspect to her being the same slave (I don't think so but maybe I'm wrong) ?

I did think about that, but I ended up going with the cryo code instead. I really don't want to increase micromanagement if I can help it, hence the 'farmhand' role - it's a justification for a slaver to be able to set it up and forget about it indefinitely if he so pleases. Alright sweet, I'll probably cage off Rank 1+2(Red and Pink) of Empathy as them being sadistic and very much abusive in their position of power. I'll do Rank 3+4(Purple and Blue) as they merely view it as their job to do it. I'll do Rank 5+6(Cyan and Green) as them being tender, almost motherly towards the slave.

So a high empathy Slave-mother(for lack of a better word right now) can boost the slaves happiness towards being cattle-ified. While a low-empathy Slave-mother will make mind-breaking and depression a more likely outcome.

So if the player wants to be a cruel mind-breaker, low-empathy is the way to go. But if they want a happy cattle-girl, high-empathy is the way to go.

As for the slave-mother with the stat check for Pets and Secretary, have it be a hard-requirement. Like at least Rank 3 for both to be able to do the job well.

Way I figure it, the food industry is locked up by a Guild of similar power to the one the slaver is a member of - let's call it the Grocer's Guild. The slaver we play can get away with a small barn for a few of his own slaves, but if he tried to expand further it'd be infringing on the Grocer's Guild monopoly. And since the Grocer's have the monopoly, they dictate that everyone buys only from them - so they're the only ones you can sell to without getting on their bad side. Hence the low price.

Like randomly and giving some aura boosts (even fear or despair)to slaves in training, and some random events - like taking care of heat (Arousal burst) and having catfights (if someone has an idea here, speak up !)

Okay, worked a little more on some game dev during a sleepless night, it's a mix'n'mash stuff, that has foundations in things said before in the thread for a part of it.
It's a pick-like-you-want list without any pretention other than to brainstorm stuff.
Ideas have been separated in "modules", trying to make them separated. I've included "secondary modules" that are basically advanced variants of a module but can probably done at another time or not at all.
I also took the liberty to highlight possible tie-ins/balancing stuff/synergies with other things we might had or that are in the works. They're all open to discussion, of course. There are holes - points we've not enough discussed yet, and in which I have no ideas. Take more the thing as a speculative roadmap.

I think that the way the Barn is developping is a solid ground to make something similar with a Brothel: a separate entity, with fixed slots, prerequisites for the slots, and a semi-random income. Some fluff thrown around. Three kind of slots to begin with, with a max number, and money to invest to buy them all (buying things to improve how big, and classy, the Brothel is).
Perhaps the requirements should include being a Patrician ?

1 Madam slot, that is the player's right hand and manage the thing. High stats needed, Temperament, *Pride/Ego* (to make things interesting), Devotion/Moral, Awareness/Rational, sex skills, max secretary, max nurse, why not some Escort and Gladiatrix. Need specific attire (some posh clothes and some items) And a bonus like accounting, and so on.

0-2 High Courtesans slots, give more money than simple prostitutes, higher stats needed (mainly classy stuff as they are entertaining high rollers - A+ Maid, Escort, Dancing, Singing, Music) and posh clothes. At least 3 Devotion and a teal Beauty.

2-4 Whores - the salt of the earth of the brothel nation. They're mainly Courtesans with a higher Devotion needed (3) because they work outside and all, and a blue Beauty, for attraction.

Possibility to give a better roll in the auctions with Broken Variants ? To add them in the Commissions rolls ?
Probably need a sub-family of traits, let's call them Mindbreak Traits for the moment, that can be seen in the stat page of a slave.

- Broken Minds: (the original flavor) probably should have some advantages in LINK -> Slave Molding, probably the better broken slaves for the Barn, the Stables, and blank mind or brainwashing stuff
Occurs when a slave Sanity is < 3, Sanity being Nature + Pride + Temperament. Obedience stats become 0, except Custom, that becomes 5. Slave has minimal learning skills too as it seems. Always F- value…Perhaps a little too harsh for the moment (on the "won't learn anything anyway" side).
They could be pokemorphed into other broken slaves variants as their bonus.


- Cum Sluts: Slaves that have been addicted to jizz via MagicJizzPotion (or some other magic stuff. or medical stuff.) Perhaps an MagicAntidoteJizz Potion to stop the addiction to the current level ?
Obedience stats go higher with each dose (Rational, Custom, Instinct), Intelligence, Nature and Temperament go down, high likeness to go oral, Alarm Rule is a fix, Sensitivity helps the process by making it go faster.
Suffers withdrawal if not "helped", stronger with levels ? Stamina penalties, Sanity penalties (so that a mismanaged cum slut goes mind broken too)

If you load her too much brain can fry, aura can go haywire, and so on. Should use the combined effects of all the drugs already in the game, perhaps add some (more magic themed, the code is more than clear about the existing ones being things we know).

- Inner Beasts: Broken Slaves that did far, far too many pet and xeno things. Can't be selled at all even at nearly all the new buyers, but greater bonuses when using them as House Pets, Bitches, and Cattle. Drained Intelligence and no Rational anymore. Can't Despair (too far gone) but can Spoil. Can't have non-paraphilia items.
OPTIONAL: Bonuses to Gladiatrix things. Unleash your beastwoman. YES, you CAN go all Conan-y on your girl and make her the fiercest untamed warrioress the worlds have ever seen.

Think assembly-line work there. Needs obedience enough to make oral and perhaps some groups things, low pride, and should have some sort of Obedience checks to avoid runaways. Needs to be constructed first LINK -> Gloryhole Module.
Oral and such skills directly decide the money of each "round" and if the round is "won" (money or not), and the number of "rounds" is not dependent on the slave. So high stamina recommended. Mood hits are in line too. The system SHOULD use up the slaves faster than they can tank it with a regular training (you'll need to change them, but you can easily train other ones, it's a light requirement relatively speaking). The thing should also very slowly give Despair, give "bad food moodlet" and past 2 rounds "won", slaves should get "nausea" of some kind.
Cum Sluts get special bonuses there (lesser mood hits for hardship/fatigue).
If Liking, slaves do no more gain "bad food" moodlet.
If Loving, no more Despair gained by slaves.
If Addicted, no more "nausea" debuff.
If under MagicJizzPotion effect, they gain cumslut_xp.
If Addicted, they gain cumslut_xp even if not anymore under MagicJizzPotion (antidote for example).

The assistant's modifiers are very much simplified - just skill advances and pregnancies from what I remember, possibly a couple other things. For example, her weight stays stable and her food costs are two sparks a day, for a grand total of one line of code to run an assistant's diet. For comparison, the slave's food and calorie calculation code is literally hundreds of lines long.

The prisoner's ones I haven't really looked into, but I've seen the code for it scattered about in the most unlikely of places. I mentioned before that every line of text that appears on the screen triggers ten thousand lines of code - most of that is extremely edge-case IF-THEN stuff, but within it is upkeep checks on prisoners in the dungeon.


Right, now that I'm up to date on the thread I'm going to take another run at getting the barn code to work. I spent a lot of hours trying to get the code to cooperate yesterday, and now I've given up and I'm going full cargo-cult programming by working inside the established code locations, so hopefully that will be more productive.

I was interpreting the code wrong. What it actually meant is that frigid girls are less likely to accept vaginal sex than non-frigid girls, but frigid girls are just as likely to accept anal sex as non-frigid girls. I don't think this is how it works in real life, though.

For sealing vag, I think it'd be better to go with temporary measures, like taping over the vagina before sticking her in the wallbutt. Actually making a slave impossible to penetrate vaginally would require a shitload of work tracking down every instance of vaginal sex in the code. The in-depth explanation: You rent a barn from the real estate, at which point it shows up in the new menu under 'Domestic Issues > Business'. If a slave is lactating and either mindbroken or a fully-trained pet, she can be made a cow. Same deal with egglayers, except they need to be laying eggs. Pigs have to be either mindbroken or stupid. Farmhands need the same level of custom as an assistant as well as basic nurse and secretary skills.

If everything's working okay, you should get decent feedback on what the problem is if a slave is rejected for a role.

Apart from some bare-bones training-wheel languages about fifteen or twenty years ago I've never formally learned a programming language. I work entirely off monkey-see monkey-do and cargo-cult programming, and being entirely too stubborn for my own good. Which is a tip in itself: no matter what you're trying to do, chances are someone's done something similar, and you can always check to see how they did it. No need to reinvent the wheel every time you write a program. Don't directly copy them, just see how they did it and roughly follow their example.

Also: save constantly, save in a new version every time you finish writing or finish bug-checking a feature, and before you embark in a big project write down everything the program will have to do and mark things off the list as you do them. Having your own whiteboard on hand makes things so much easier it's practically cheating, a series of .txt documents are only slightly less helpful.

Use unique and memorable names for variables and write them all down as you go with short descriptions of what they are. You don't want to be neck-deep in code and think 'wait, what was the name of that variable again' and have to lose your momentum scrolling back up in the code to find out. And you don't want your program to shit itself because you thought you were creating a new variable but it turns out you used that name for something else. Long and unique variable names cost seconds and can save hours.

Always, always, always comment your code. If something is referring to elsewhere in the program, or it uses something that isn't immediately self-evident what it does just by looking at it, spend five or so words saying what that chunk of code does in a comment.

If in doubt, keep things simple. In code there's almost always a way to turn fifty lines of code into twenty and ten variables into three with some complex and terrifying piece of coding witchcraft. But if these pieces of computer sorcery fail to work it's an enormous pain in the ass to fix them. A computer can run a ridiculous amount of lines of code per second, so there's no harm taking the long way until you've built up enough experience to be entirely confident with computer witchcraft.

Test your code constantly. When you make a program, make the program able to be run first so you can test everything as it's added. That way when a problem crops up you know exactly what addition caused it. If you spend eight hours coding without testing, that's eight hours worth of code you have to sort through if the program fails to start. This exact scenario has happened to me on multiple occasions because of something so simple as a missing ':' or 'END'.

Is doesn't do anything new gameplay-wise, it's just for comfort. This way you can also check your actual cattle and the pics can do some mnemonic fun by remembering how you did what whit which slave. Gives a funny pokemonmaster feeling too.
Furthermore, you can use the exact same coding to any other expansion in the future - the Fucktoys (gloryholes ans wallbutts) extension, the Stables subextension, the Kennels subextension, the Street Pimping extension, the Brothel extension (I keep tipping "brother", Sigmund may have things to say here), and anything we come about…

Perhaps you already had some UI happiness in mind too.

On a similar note, a detailed gains&debts entry in the Domestic>Business>Reports thing is totally where it belongs. A pretty sum up of the "at this moment" balance could be cool in the secondary UI, on the other hand (for each slot eventually, so you can quickly see bad assets).

The game does not allow to chech the stat page of a girl that isn't active/assistant, and thi sis probably too complicated, I won't advocate it except if you say something along "na, piece a cake, already done it in fact".

I suppose expanding the Barn or working on a variation thereof would be the logical next step, but I want to cleanse the palate a little first.

Perhaps I'll take another run at the street prostitution idea. Currently I'm not really envisioning it as a good source of money, more of a 'I desperately need a few more sparks to pay the rent this decade' sort of thing.

I've also got a vague idea for some sort of device you can buy from the clinic that you or a medically-trained assistant can use to give a slave a check to see if she's got rotphilis or a pregnancy, which should be fairly straightforward.

I think the optimal thing would be that it is a panic button thing on one hand, but can ALSO be more of a permanent sidething when things are better later in the game on the other hand.
The simpliest thing to do (keeping in mind what we have spoken of before) would be that vanilla slaves are a panic thing and take heavy hits by doing it without training, and are better sold if they have training.. Some advanced slaves you can unlock later are of the completionnist-for-the-fun-of-it empire-building touch and can be used on a permanent basis, with a low, but steady profit, when you have already bought the more profitable upgrades.

Plus it being on the streets means the slave needs supervision. Household staff is more of a late game thing. I was thinking more something that's convenient - no need to go to the Serpentine Quarter every time you get a new slave to check her for disease and parasites, just use the machine on her to check. If she does have a disease or a parasite, of course, you'd have to go to the clinic to get that sorted out.

Also I was thinking that if you had the machine and your assistant was set to 'supervise slave' and had medical skill, she'd alert you to any diseases or parasites or pregnancy.

Right, I've given it a bit of thought and here's where I'm at: What I'm thinking for it now is having multiple possible sources of fiends - a team of gladiatrices that captures them from the Fog that require a team of skilled slaves, messily mass-producing them through allowing cheap slaves to be impregnated and killed when they hatch that requires a small but constant spark expenditure for the slaves, and having a sort of laboratory set up where a single slave is repeatedly impregnated by fog fiends and then has the growing parasite removed to be grown in a vat that requires a single large one-off payment.

Once a… I guess I'll call it a 'fiend compound' for now is set up, you can start using the cum to feed your Barn and the future businesses, and any unused cum can be sold for a small amount of profit.

"Crate of item" items. A whole crate of sundresses, spiked collars, pairs of boots, etc. Something to streamline the new slave shopping trip process.

According to the forums, a significant (read: a real minority, not just one guy) part of the fanbase can't stand the more "extreme" fetishes of the game, allegedly for morale reasons. Especially cannibalism. That's why I think of other options. That and the fact that I really really like to have a truckload of choices.
What is "the most extreme fetishes" vary from people to people, and is somewhat foggy (like being alright with rape but dead against beatings; or okay with fiend incubators if they aren't lolis; or simply okay with slavery but only if you are a kind slaver that gists fluffy shoes and wedding dresses. Yeah, suicide is still a risk with them normally, but as long as their mood isn't bottomed out it's pretty much irrelevant for them. Slaves in the Barn don't have mood, though - it'd be an overwhelming amount of micromanagement if you had to actually worry about how all the different girls in your various businesses were feeling. Hence why you'll need a farmhand to feed the barn girls cum - managing their mood will be part of her job, which justifies it being handwaved away.

I just had an issue where a slave i submitted after mind breaking into egg laying for the barn disappear on me.

Had a poor quality slave
Augmented for egg laying
Broke her will and waited for recovery time
Had her placed in for egg laying and was yielding a negative of 30 for operations for 3 cycles
Attempted to place a cow in for milking
Cow slot is filled and Egglaying slot is empty
Put current slave in Cryo Stasis and attempted to retrieve this current slave
Received nothing.

When I started this mod I didn't set out to make the game objectively better, because that's impossible. A change one person likes will be disliked by another person. All I am trying to do is give people options, and they absolutely have the option to not use the mod, and I feel no ill-will towards someone if they decide to take that option.

Good thing I got the slave training down to a science now so remaking my trainer should be pretty quick I'm just trying to find bugs by attempting anything I can think of.

I had one unique experience where equipping certain clothing than un-equipping would give me the next level up to whatever stat it was effecting on the Master.

Example:

Training Gladiator Skill on my Master by training every single Slave as a Gladiator.

Skill is currently in blue

After about 8 Girls

Equip Aketon to raise skill to Teal.

Immediately Un-equip Aketon, skill still remains at Teal despite no further skill training.

I have done this when I believe my skill is just about to hit the next level just so I can get it out of the way, and I want to say its because the skill is so close to leveling up that by equipping that gear its just rounding up to the next level.

I've tried replicating the issue without having done any training to the skill and so far I cant just level up the skills by equipping different clothing over and over. (At least not through 50 equips of the same gear)

Okay, changing your clothes sets the dynamic item_property['whatever'] as setting boost_up['skill'] to 1, and then fires $newloc, which runs that dynamic, and then checks if boost_up is 1 for each of the skills, and if it is then it just adds one to that skill. It kills the entire item_property array before it runs the dynamic so it can't be leftover variables. And it doesn't touch the master_rate for skills, so it shouldn't be affecting how skills increase at all. So maybe, thinks I, this isn't a bug at all, it's just a problem of the game not checking to see if Anon's skill is ready to advance until changing clothes prompts the check.

Slaver skills advance only when $calculate_atributes is run, which only happens when $newloc is run, which only happens when you change your clothes and practically never otherwise. Or so I thought, but then I noticed while I was staring baffled at $onnewloc = 'newloc' that $onnewloc was blue, which signifies it's part of QSP and not this game specifically. So I googled and then translated from Russian found that whatever you define $onnewloc as, it'll run that when the location changes.

But this game's code doesn't really have discrete locations, it just bounces the player from menu_form to interaction to interaction_result to interaction_screen and back to menu_form. But there is the 'curloc' definition, which sends you to… well, I don't know where. There's no 'loc'. So I look at the code for leaving the house and $place seems like a good contender. So I have now reached the conclusion that $newloc fires whenever $place changes. How often does that happen?

As it turns out, all the goddamn time. Your slave bathing changes the $place to the bathroom. Someone cooking changes it to the kitchen. So maybe it's not $place changing? I googled again and found fuck all results for 'curloc' and '$place' together on the QSP forums. So $place is unlikely to be what triggers $onnewloc. I briefly try to track down what $place does exactly but it appears constantly in the code so I think better of it. Back to the drawing board.

I start searching through the QSP website through Google Translate. Apparently curloc 'returns the name of the current location'. Which is different to what I had assumed it does and leads me to believe it's not connected to $onnewloc at all. Further reading on the site leads me to the conclusion that 'location' is QSP jargon for the discrete code chunks that make up the game, and practically anything the player does bounces them between three or four locations as various pieces of code run. So $onnewloc, and thus $newloc, fires multiple times every time the player does anything.

Which means I've been barking up the wrong tree all this time. But hey, I learned more about what makes the game run in the process, and it's cheaper than buying a newspaper to do the crossword. I'll circle back around on this later on - it's an extremely minor bug that doesn't really hurt anything but I can't resist a challenge.

i also activated arachnid (spider sex) and polypus (some sort of worm i guess ?) and they kinda work fine except for the part that when i add them to list of skills to learn in the Xenophily they don't level up, the name stays red as if the slave doesn't know anything about this sort of activity but when i make the action happen the box bar gives me different result of what suppose to be the skill level of the slave for the example:
