Slave Maker 3 is fairly tame compared to Jack-o-nine-tails. As you may have noticed cmacleod is a bit of a moralfag, so there is no option to actually force slaves to do anything or rape them with Ayane being a notable exception, gotta build up obedience to get them to willingly agree to do extreme sex. And the requirements can be all over the place. Like, one girl has 0 obedience requirement to do anal sex, but needs something around 30-50 to go naked for a day

For a playing strategy, I recommend getting a lot of gold and skills. Skills can be gotten after a levelup following successful slave training (for the exact details, see wiki). Slave Trainer is kinda important since it allows higher max stats. A very skilled slave can rake in a fuckton of cash in jobs, and if you're freelance you can take all the moolah for yourself. If not, you gotta make money off sales, actually having your slave maker work or taking a cut of your slave's competition winnings (they have competitions every week, hyper much?)

And you can usually cook up a better slave maker using the character designer rather than taking a stock option.

Slave Maker kinda loses its appeal after 3-4 NPCs, unfortunately. You'll have worked out your routine for how to get the best score for training, will be rolling in the Gold, have no real risk, etcetera. Admittedly I haven't played since he made it so all your trainers have stats that need to be looked after too, but I don't think the change is especially important.

Doesn't help that a lot of the new content is Zoo or the floodgates having opened with Furry submissions, so if Zoo or Furry isn't your thing the only real difference is a few different images for a couple generic Slaves.

I recently played Jack-of-spades, and after this, SM3, BrothelS.im, SimBrothel, Slavemaster, and the various HHS iterations, I can't help but feel depressed that they all fall in the same pitfalls.
All those games focuse more on building stats to build more stats rather than porn. That's an incredibly bad design decision when making a management game that should be about porn.

What got me in this type of game was Himekishi Lilia by Lilith Soft, and while this game was very light on the management side, it had everything you could ask from such a game. Performing sex acts would open up new ones in due time, and each acts had different levels of performance depending on wether or not it was Lilia's first time doing it, as well as her corruption state. The sex being divided in different paths and the deadline being quite close, it ensured that you wouldn't see the exact same scene more than 2 times times in one playthrough and give the game some replayability.

That's how you do a proper porn game. Replaying the same sex scene with the same CG and almost the same text 5 times just to up a stats in order to meet a requirement isn't fun. Those games focus too much on the management aspect rather than focusing on why people play them in the first place.

I haven't played the Bishop games yet as I prefer more extreme sex acts (gangbangs and such) but it looks like I'll have to in order to get my fix (hopefully).

It's one of the oldest Black Lilith games, the CG are made by ZOL if Im not mistaken. It's quite short, but it's probably the most decent SLG game I've played, wich says more about the quality of the genre than of the game itself.
But I really liked it at the time, I don't know who the VA for Lilia is, but she made the knight blowjob scene so mindblowingly hot I still remember it to this day.
