Nobody mention Kamidori Alchemy Meister? This shit is a pretty well done SRPG with 3 different routes that each has their own seperate content after a certain point in the game.. Tlaero's games are made in a similar vain. Her recent team up with Mortze has actually resulted in some pretty good work.
I'd stick away from Chaotic's stuff, as he just focuses on sex and hasn't changed his formula in 5 years.
Ariane also has a sudo VN out called Something in the Air, that was pretty fun and picks up after all those dates from the original game.
