CrackleCradle and BlankBlood, both games are made by the same person and follow the same side-scrolling style. The controls are a little clunky on BlankBlood but on CrackleCradle they are smoother.

As for VNs Gore Screaming Show is very intriguing, it had different levels of censorship in the settings so you can have standard lewd mosaic or gore would be mosaiced as well.

It wasn't translated but you could get a partial translation using 2 programs, a text grabber and a translator program that you need a crack for.

I only played the beginning of it and eventually my computer broke so I couldn't finish but you go to school and meet girls and stuff and there's a puppet that goes around killing people.

I had a CG set of it once and it had H scenes where the girl is riding the guy doggie style then the puppet bites her head off. And there were fatal tentacle scenes too.
