I made a thread here last time about making a tentacle game, but since then I decided to scale it down to a simple flash game like SDT.

Yea, I know that there are hundreds of corruption games out there. However very few of them use corruption in the way I like.

I like slow corruption. Where the heroine starts out pure but finds herself being tempted towards depravity. Making small compromises until she has found herself going full slut. The first of Maika's Choukou Sentai Justice Blade series was delicious in this regard. Unfortunately after 2 it became bog standard "There is one liner route and you get a harem of corrupted heroines at the end of it."

My game idea for this section is game where you are a villain up against a cast of justice dealing heroines (either magical girls or female super sentai) where you select a single heroine and then proceed to nudge her towards the path of depravity and joining your side. Perhaps as a bonus you get to command the corrupted heroine against her former friends.

As long as it's rigid, I don't think it'll be that much of an issue. I'm writing a list of all the tentacle types I want, so if you have any more ideas, let me know.

Hair is a toss up, don't particularly know what type of hair most people would prefer. It also depends on the character's personality and background. If she's a princess for example she'd probably have long, clean hair. Maybe even a tiara. Same idea applies to her appearance. Keeping with the princess idea she'd probably be reserved, prim, and proper. If she's a schoolgirl what is she? A delinquent? A class president? An ojou type? The list goes on. Best to ground out what you want. Since it's better to get involved in a character you'll enjoy first even if you're making it for others.

As for how old she looks, I think most people would be okay with a character that fits the "young-adult" range. Anywhere from eighteen to late thirties.

Body dynamics would be put on display during the sex scenes as the girl has a set amount of stamina for each session. Her physical condition will reflect how much stamina she has left. For example, when you just start a session, she looks calm and composed, and she'll be able to perform lots of reps per set. Give it a few minutes, though, and she's sweating, breathing heavily, and her muscles shake a bit toward the end of a set. By the end, she's dripping sweat, gasping for breath, and moaning and screaming as her trembling muscles fail to complete even a few reps. The player will be allowed to "pause" that stamina loss so that he can fap to the girl at his leisure while she's at the level of fatigue he finds most erotic.
In the end, it's an h-game concept that would be fairly easy for a developer like Kiss or Illusion to make, but there's just no market for it aside from me and the guy who drew that CG set.

I'm also considering moving the game from Flash to Python because of how many different actions that could be going on in the game, not to mention the save-state-based endings. That means multiple poses would be more feasible and the game could run smoother and more efficiently with more actions occurring at once. But, I would need to learn Python, which would take more time than I anticipated (at my current schedule, I hoped to complete the game in just over a year). It would also mean that I can't directly upload it onto 8chan, nor could you play it in browser.

Worst comes to worst, I could stay with Flash and skip the endings altogether. All routes would end with the same still showing the girl pregnant. The game would still be playable within a browser and hopefully uploadable on 8chan directly.

I guess this is what you can call a serious case of mission creep.

Depending on the stats the tentacles could help her ease into birthing (intimate) or be more aggressive (brutality), or stronger/faster (efficiency).

A better example would be:

Intimate: Tentacles are gentle, rub her softly, and they spread her legs slowly (she'll willingly spread them too), and rub her belly as she gets ready to give birth.

Brutality: Tentacles are cruel, spread her legs open while she resists, and try to squeeze her so she births the eggs.

Efficiency: Tentacles sedate her, spread her legs open easily, squeeze her in an effective method to birth the eggs.

Being too ambitious is dangerous. I can't stress that enough. That doesn't mean you shouldn't go with Python if you know you absolutely can do it, but judging your own ability to come out with an end product is important. If you know you can come out with a product with Flash but are uncertain with Python it's better to go with what you yourself believe in.

I have an idea for a game. The MC would be a somewhat naive half-Orc who becomes the Chief of the Orcs by accident and must conquer the world to uphold a prophecy that was misattributed to him.

In terms of gameplay I was thinking something like how the Rance games are set up where the game is half strategy and half VN. There would be tons of harsh loving involved in the game obviously. The only problem I would run into is my shit art skills, I can write fairly well and can code a bit (will learn over time) but art is something that escapes me.

Yeah that's true. It's a shame because there seems to be an abundance of coders/writers/etc but we are lacking people who can do art. Hopefully I can elicit some interest from some artists online someday, or maybe I could just search them out and enlist them.

Regardless, my only major problem right now is looking at an engine for the game. I like Ren'py in theory but everything done on it with the exception of a few VNs look horrible. I'm also uniquely fucked because I don't think anyone has done a strategy/vn style game on Ren'py so I would be heading into relatively unknown territory.

For now I'm just going to do more writing and designing of the world. I think I might do a couple side projects so that I can get used to working on a serious game as well as get my name out there.

Did a bit of soul-searching and I've decided to keep the game simple and using Flash. There's no way I can realistically make the mess I have planned without spending years drawing, tweaking, and bodging up programming on it. That or quit my job. I'm not willing to press my luck by making a living off of fap-fueled charity like the creator of CoC.

I'm scrapping the multiple endings and sticking with a single ending, or use a finishing move as the ending itself.
I'm also scrapping most of the moves on this >>630 in order to simplify and make multiple penetrations possible.
I'll be reusing the same tentacles for all three holes, but there will be at least three distinct tentacles at play >>534

That could be difficult to do. The default character animation would need to include the eggs rather than just having them disappear and change the shape of her stomach in response.

First update in weeks.
Bad news: I gotta dump AS3 (.fla/.swf) and go with Python.
The reason? I can't get the basic idle animation (breathing and squirming) to work without dropping massive amounts of frames. And that's just for the human. The tentacles have their own idle animations (four of which are directly related to her arms), which makes the problem even worse (a shit computer like the one I'm using right now gets single digit fps, while a decent one gets 15 at best with nothing else going on).

Fortunately, none of the game elements were finished, so I'm not really losing any progress apart from lost time. With the switch to Python, I should be able to implement save states, allowing for a greater variety of unlockable actions, paths, and endings.

Here are Big important things.

Prioritizing Gameplay before story/theme, declothe graphical art.
The main problem why most Henti games are terrible, I mean can get very terrible is because they are pretty bad actual games. Games with common problems, such as.

1. Eventual rape seems to be a priority.
I don't know if ether Bad End, Game Over, Good End, whatever extra scene you get when you have to do it all over again. Somehow rape is involved. Mostly related to the protagonist.
"At least you tried, now fap", most of the time with no movie or audio.
The worst fap is fapping unfulfilled. I don't know why people suffer this, but most of the time it is a golden scene in the creator's mind… When you failed within 30 seconds of play time. At least someone else can hack the game and unlock the perpetually locked scene gallery.

2. Gameplay curve gets really boring, and complicated very fast.
Please.
What I hate nothing more are invisible walls in a typical H-RPG. Then add unmarked teleporters that teleport you randomly to the other end of the dungeon floor.
Then never add a map for the dungeon, you have to "find" the map, as well as it not marking the invisible walls and teleporters.

I was just talking about the dungeon crawler that should have just been a visual novel…wait.

Oh yeah. Nude Debuffs/Nerfs.
Clothes off, character weakens.
Why even implement? Is it because, "No clothes, no strength; fapping urge intensifies, but you are screwed". Any damage decreases clothing by media tradition, nothing more. Especially in turn based RPG's when you have to leave the dungeon to get your clothes back. Rather having perks to your personal desire, nude/damage nerfs are essentially the peeves of any gameplay related element.
"Getting punished for sucking balls? At least you have eyecandy!"

If you are going to have a multiple key attack combat system in a 2D side scroller, you are going to have a bad time. Tackle a great challenge you will, only if you enjoy hitting the same keys over and over in a certain pattern for over two minutes.
By the way, the enemy can "game over" you in three hits. Pretty much say goodbye to your keyboard pounding anti-rape saves, that barely even save.

3. Game was never finished.
The best sign that the creator has given up, or lost his hard on. This is what happens when you focus on the "plot" than the actual gameplay. If the game is unplayable, it would never advance the story of the game. That is how the creator seems to be stuck on the Game Over rape scene, because even they were unable to play/win, find fix problems more efficiently. Or was it their intent in the first place? So that's why the file was only 2mbs. But why would you ever download a flash game anyway?

If you ask me, not even the female customization is up to snuff yet. Chubby or outright fat is an option more often than not, but what if I want to make a muscle girl in AA2? My only option is that thing that redoes the texture on a girl's abs to create the illusion of a six pack, but it looks god awful, and it's strange to see a girl with a body fat low enough for a six pack, but her arms and legs look the same as any other girl. Body fat just doesn't work that way.
Oh, well. If I ever did get an H-game that lets me make a muscle girl, it would probably be a pure muscle mass slider instead of a muscle definition slider, so I'd be stuck with some nasty, deviant art tier girl.
