I have to agree. Even if MK2 is my personal favorite, I have one complaint about that one. In contrast, SM I have no real complaint, other than I wish it never ended. Or was twice, three times longer. Also, Marika in bloomers is a delicacy. I've learned to appreciate her further, which is why I wish the game was longer.

MK3 was so solid, people hate on it but it really comes into it's own artistically. Every girl is good and has good scenes. MK4 has a lot of really hot scenes scenes (and a larger resolution) but overall MK3 is just better. I like each heroine of MK3, but am not too fond of Asahi in MK4, nor am I fond of how Yuuri and Kaho's routes ended up (Kaho was just boring as fuck post-mindbreak, too much of Yuuri's route had her lying about being mindbroken which I disliked). Haven't played M1/2 yet.

Pretty much just finished first route (I chose) of Houkago 3, Suzuno. I can say heartily, it does not disappoint. The art put me off a little at first but … well, I number of the CGs looked a bit derpy in ways I wasn't happy with, and I still think her sprite (pic related) doesn't look too good… oh, geez, yeah I can't really overlook the art on Suzuno's route, it by itself was subpar in a certain sense but overall the quality is still really high, and I quite enjoyed the scenario, interesting scenes, hot developments (has the classic bit where MC tells the girl to suck his dick and it turns her on so much she digs into her vagina with her fingers by her own will), overall, it's seems to be a good game and won't disappoint any Bishop fans, assuming each route is at least this quality which I don't have any reason to doubt.

One interesting aspect is that many of the scenes had 3 CGs so it felt like the plot progressed a LOT faster… usually there's a "mid-break break" where a girl resists and the MC has to take her down a notch after avoiding defeat. This time, it was literally inconsequential, she did her thing, which took like 10 lines, he was like "wtf?" and then it was never mentioned again, nor did it affect any subsequent scenes. Pretty weird, but not too disappointing I guess given how lengthy those sometimes got.

The OST is fucking great. There are plenty of options in the menu and they suffice, I didn't find myself wanting anything else.

Rating: 8/10 so far. Would be 9/10 if Suzuno's art wasn't so derpy.
