I was playing 赤首の闘技場 lately. You guys will find it under this number on dlsite RJ[140919].
It's a great RPG game about some Girl forced into some sort of a Gladiator Tournament. The game futures not only Game over Rapes, you can get harrassed and fucked even midfight. I'd post some more Screenshots but I'm quite short on time now.
The artstyle is great in my taste and the fucking CG's are fucking hot. The only thing it lacks is a voice actor for the girl but that's just my preference.

i've had a lot of fun with this one. the name is princess sacrifice, it's an rpg fighting game where you get yourself raped to advance the plot.
there's game-over rape as CGs and ingame molestation with animations similar to OPs game. there's also several items and clothes that you can equip.
oftentimes you'll be much weaker than the enemy, so to drive the story forward you'll have to let yourself get captured, so prepare to get raped. a lot.
there's pigmen, orcs, tentacles, bandits, wizards and so on. i think it has an actual story, but since i cannot into moonspeak i didn't gather much of it.

One major thing to look out for is the holy rod and armor. These can only be obtained through alchemy, but you can get them extremely early (around town rank 2) and they're the most powerful gear in the game by far. To get the holy rod, you need to fuse a magic rod (either use alchemy to make them early or get the weapon shop to level 8 to make it sell it) with a pure water from one of the exploration dungeons (look for 水 in the name and use Kaho or Sharl along with any other characters with a high information stat). The robe is the same deal, dark robe + rare drop from the dungeon right under the water one. Fuse multiple holy rods/robes to each other to level them quickly, and you'll rape the game.

As you deduced, it's indeed best to just rush to get those guilds because characters from guilds actually gain levels and become useful. Until then, make the main girl a medic until you get Kaho, and you can easily hold the gate with just Linna, MC, Tinya, and Sharl until you make a priest guild and can switch the main girl to anything you want. Wakaba, Luna, ect. just make it that much easier. As a temporary fix your gear issue, you can buy the best shit you can from the weapon shop, fuse it to itself until level 40-60, and watch as your team wrecks shit. Some dungeons drop good weapons, too, and do it often enough that you can easily level 99 anything that drops from them.
And I did notice that battles were easier in the black route, too. That's probably because they were too scared of the MC.

As for your problem with chests opening and then closing: the inventory space is not infinite. You can only have so many weapons (10 slots?) on you at a time. If you have let's say 10/10 firebombs you won't take any from the chest but as trinkets are also items you can have fixed ammount of (1/1) if you find identical ring or amulet you won't be able to pick it up until you transfer the one from your inventory into stash or sell it. You can access stash and shop (sell only) at save crystals.

I do not know if anyone here also uses this, but I use a tool called Zipeg to exact all japanese files in general when in another locale in windows.
You can either have it autodetect filename encoding (which works, as far as I can tell) or you can choose to force SHIFT-JIS.
Only downside is it is in java and the file selection dialogue is slightly annoying. It has also not been updated for a long time (still works though) and is slightly slow. Main thing though is it works out of the box in any locale without any of that applocale/locale emulator/changing locale thing.
I do have japanese language pack installed, but I do not think that may even be necessary
Filenames and games will work fine but the insides of text documents (readme, etc) still will not. I just use Word and it does the conversion for me, but if you do not have a copy of Word, Codepage Converter (on sourceforge) to select files to convert from Shift-JIS to UTF-8 will work fine to fix text files.
Why go through the trouble? Because some other things I use will not function with japanese locale.

Just a protip from someone who can into moonrunes: get an IME pad set up for your keyboard region to draw japanese kanji then find and download your savegames from sagaoz, he has a searchable database of H-game 100% saves.
Watching voice acted scenes is 100x better than just CGs. Plus you can learn the pronounciation of a word or two while fapping
