I am having some trouble with getting this game to work and was wondering if anyone knew what the error message says.

for anyone interested in playing the game, it is an untranslated rpg that plays similar to many other rpg maker games and has a demon's/dark souls type of setting where there is a hub and different areas you go to and you can rescue various npcs that you can also fuck.

I had beaten it years ago and just recently remembered about it. My locale is set to japan and I have even tried running as admin and I keep getting the error.

The error message says you're missing the font it uses. "Sazanami Mincho" is the name of the font I think

I found the specific font by comparing all of the characters but in my folder directory it says that I already have the font

is that screen shot yours? the .exe filename is The Demon's Kingdom `-S',|-B that should be Japanese

yeah I don't know what is wrong with it, it worked fine when I played it years ago on my old pc and I had it on my external hard drive when I originally played it. I have the font it is saying I am missing but a different font called kouzan brush has its filename as tŽR–Ñ•MƒtƒHƒ“ƒg

it means your not in Japanese local OR you weren't in Japanese local when you Unziped the files.

the .zip/.rar can have an English name but the files inside should show proper Japanese words and names. if you see any tŽR–Ñ•MƒtƒHƒ“ƒg shit its a local issue at some point

Use 7zip to unpack the archive, it creates proper names even not in Japanese locale.
