I was having trouble getting it to work too but I think I solved it
first thing (and probably not your issue) he named the folders 'Images' and 'Sound' instead of 'images' and 'sounds'
you probably noticed and changed that anyway
the more likely problem is that the first scene's images folder doesn't contain the background image 'srnc249a.cb3aca1d9014c884073358ec24aaaa27.jpg'
this meant the scene would never load up when I tried to launch it
luckily the second scene contains this file too and it was included in the rip
so just copy it to the first scene's images folder too
