>>84This was my original fear and reason for reluctance in the first place. This place isn't huge and a clone of barachan is a pretty ambitious project. I might hold out on it for a month or two just to see how things go here. I'll go ahead and claim the boards, just in case however, since they go pretty fast.
>>83Yeah, I've gotten two or three complaints from people who thought there was too much of one r the other on this place so I felt there was a group I was isolating by allowing this stuff. Once I get the board title I want for 2d I'll probably go ahead and set it up and split it off there for now. Though the board is up in the air until Hotwheels gets back to me. I wont go further until both boards are at adequate capacity for it. I might just bring the boards in one at a time by "popular demand" after a while. I have a few basically set up already outside of the CSS and some rules. so we'll just see in a month or two. Out of the two I've come into possession the Doujinshi board is the most "finished."
As for "other outlets" I'm not sure. /y/ is aiming to be more of a clone of 4chan's /y/ so I get the feeling they want to keep it yaoi. I always preferred traditional Bara over it. and I don't personally go to furry, but that's one of the main reasons I'm reluctant to make a gfur board because it exists. Thats why I was thinking of going with this
>>82 idea and just reincorporating grey to be "Weird fetishes that aren't vanilla enough for the 2D board but not extreme enough for the alt board."
That way we at least have a place bara related to direct them if we have to, as well as a place for people who like trolls, demons, orcs, and other such beastly things and they wont annoy the people who aren't in the 2d board.
