History obviously dates 5,500 bce to now.

Anthropology is a broad field, and generally is used as a study of humans, and it's most common application is the study of pre-history humans.

For instance, did you know that the bow and arrow first appeared in the Mesolithic age or upper paleolithic age, which means that it arrived 25,000 to 5,000 years ago?

A holmegarde bow was discovered and confirmed to have been used in denmark 9,000 years ago.

If you tie this into the fact that our ape ancestors even before homo erectus, that although can't learn things dynamically, are capable of advanced politics, such as duels, battles, lynching and other types of gang warfare.

Your post reads like you hit submit before you were done typing it in.

Anyways, I love thinking about prehistorical civilization, how and why we settled, build cities and granaries, how we came to follow kings and priests, and what would have happened if we had taken alternative paths.

My favorite conflict is that of the "hill people" and the "valley people", as it is both practical, political and philosophical in nature.

But anyways, if you want to talk about it, might want to set a proper topic. Ask a question or share a controversial opinion. Build it and they will come.

The Sami people (also Sámi or Saami), traditionally known in English as Lapps or Laplanders, are an indigenous Finno-Ugric people inhabiting the Arctic area of Sápmi, which today encompasses parts of far northern Norway, Sweden, Finland, the Kola Peninsula of Russia, and the border area between south and middle Sweden and Norway. The Sami are the only indigenous people of Scandinavia recognized and protected under the international conventions of indigenous peoples, and are hence the northernmost indigenous people of Europe.[8] Sami ancestral lands span an area of approximately 388,350 km2 (150,000 sq. mi.), which is approximately the size of Norway, in the Nordic countries. Their traditional languages are the Sami languages and are classified as a branch of the Uralic language family.

Traditionally, the Sami have pursued a variety of livelihoods, including coastal fishing, fur trapping, and sheep herding. Their best-known means of livelihood is semi-nomadic reindeer herding. Currently about 10% of the Sami are connected to reindeer herding, providing them with meat, fur, and transportation. 2,800 Sami people are actively involved in herding on a full-time basis.[9] For traditional, environmental, cultural, and political reasons, reindeer herding is legally reserved only for Sami people in certain regions of the Nordic countries.[10]

The Marsh Arabs (Arabic: عرب الأهوار‎ ʻArab al-Ahwār "Arabs of the Marshlands"), also known as the Maʻdān (Arabic: معدان‎), are inhabitants of the Tigris-Euphrates marshlands in the south and east of Iraq and along the Iranian border.

Comprising members of many different tribes and tribal confederations, such as the Āl Bū Muḥammad, Ferayghāt, Shaghanbah and Banī Lām, the Maʻdān had developed a unique culture centered on the marshes' natural resources. Many of the marshes' inhabitants were displaced when the wetlands were drained during and after the 1991 uprisings in Iraq.

I have a question to ask about the Yanomami: are they actually a violent people? and do they practice homosexuality?

were jewish diaspora, like the cochin and kaifeng jews, ethnically different from the other natives of their area, or did they assimilate? I believe that arab traders who carried islam into india through malabar first married the natives, and so most muslims in that area have some arab blood, so did jews do the same thing?

>Are they actually a violent people?

While initial reports of them being locked in a state of constant warfare probably were exaggerations, they indeed are anything but pacifists, and frequently fight with other Native Americans and one another over the limited local resources. More than half of the male Yanomani population dies due to violence, while females are frequently raped and abducted during inter-tribal raids. Yanomani are also notorious for killing children when raiding enemy villages. Whether they do this because the colonial powers pushed them ever-deeper into the jungle with over people or because it is part of their culture remains debatable.

>Do they practice homosexuality

No idea, but it would surprise me, seeing how sexual jealousy over women is one of the most common reasons for fights within a tribal community. Women are also frequently beaten to keep them docile, and they are married off as soon as they've had their first period. As polygamy is fairly common and seen as a sign of wealth and power, the demand for women on the marriage market typically is larger than the offer in local villages, so as mentioned above, inter-tribal raiding and abductions are common.

Lastly: It should be noted that the Yanomani are not a unified social or political groups, but rather individual villages that share a relatively similar language and culture.

Not really sure, I don't think there has been any DNA tests on both groups but they look like they natives. Maybe they just converted to Judaism like the Khazar aristocracy.

I heard that teenage boys within the yanomami villages practice homosexuality since most of the girls their age are married off, and they need find some sexual relief. don't know if that was natural or a byproduct of jacques lizot being a pedo
