It's an earnest, funny, fast-paced video that gives a good overview of the history of Japan while getting nothing egregiously wrong (aside from a few fixes made using the overlay system). It doesn't spend an hour going over minutiae, doesn't spend an hour stuffing its ideology up your ass, and isn't willfully ignorant.

Honestly, if more normalfag-tier history works were like this instead of Crash Course or Extra Credits shittery, we'd be in a better place.
