Sad thing is the only board I own is /gdj/ and /him/ I have a few more, including /hm/ and /bara/ that I'm eventually planning to repurpose to serve as equivalents to barachan boards.

I have no intention to replace /cuteboys/ or /lgbt/ they both serve different subject matters to what I have in mind. Same for /y/ and /shota/ and if another gay board pops up that wants to be mentioned I'll put it up to, unless it gets too full then I'll have to figure out something else.

The least I can do is to explain what I would like to find on the gay part of 8chan. I'm not into child nor jailbaits we can find in /cuteboys/ (but I know where I am, it's simply not my business) : hairs on legs and pubis are mandatory for me, a bonus elsewhere. But I'm not into bears or men who are much manly/older than me.

I'm into all that is between these extremities. It's quite open. And that's not because I'm not into kids nor bears that I don't like to talk with them (I do it a lot in the kids' lair. They're discovering the world and have too often mentally torturing for trivia. Auntie should put them on the right path).

Accordingly, I'm looking a board which not ultraspecialized (it's the topic's job) where I could find independently stuff to fap on, where I could talk/argue about sex or fag life even if it's with people I wouldn't to fuck with or I would like to club to death IRL. A board where these other guys who have different tastes than me could find what they want. It's 8chan spirit !

I think I understand what you're looking for. You just want a board for general gayness like the old /hm/ was. /him/ is just for anyone who looks like a guy, 2d or 3d, right now. I plan to expand outwards when the board's population gets bigger and I start specializing specific board's preferences, which is what I plan to do with /hm/.

I could probably open /hm/ up a bit more and make if a board for general gay porn, but as of right now the only board with a big enough population to sustain itself is /cuteboys/which is mostly to do with it being so high up on the boardslist.

What I'm trying to do right now is get everyone into /him/ make it successful enough and start "spinoff" boards from it, using /him/'s success to populate other, smaller boards, including one's I don't own like /shota/ and /lgbt/ because god knows they need to be more popular.

Any post you can give will help. the system logs how many unique IPs post within the last 72 hours and that's how the board list is arranged with highest unique IPs posting on top while lowest on bottom. Meaning the more people who post inside of it, the higher up on the board list we are the more visible we become.

I know /him/ might not be exactly what you're looking for but my definitions are extremely lenient until we've got a big enough population to support more boards.

Have a unique IP because I almost feel bad about passing through every few months to save whatever I like without contributing anything.

Ah, right now /hm/ isn't the board I'm trying to move up. /him/ is. It might sound a little convoluted and I'm mostly in this position because I didn't know you could claim dead boards when I made it. but right now I'm trying to populate the other board /him/ and once it gets populated enough I'll branch off and start trying to populate more niche areas like 2d and 3d and alternative porn.
