Well, from a scientific perspective, some believe they're simply less evolved. See, once upon a time we walked around on all fours like monkeys, and like chimps and such, females butts would swell up to indicate sexual maturity. As we began to walk upright, a frontal display was needed, and suddenly humans became the first mammals with breasts that remained swollen when not nursing.
Personally, I'm completely a breast man, but I do *appreciate* a nice ass. It's just a much smaller factor to me.
