Okay, /homestuck/, I've decided to revive my old shitty fanfic idea and I need some help with some questions.

Yes I'm going to browse the fucking wiki after this but I need specific answers damn-it

>Is there any rhyme or reason to what order players enter The Medium? Any currently prevalent patterns?

>Is there any rhyme or reason to which players end up on which moon? Any currently prevalent patterns?
>Can a player's classpect powers manifest before entry to the medium (outside of troll-specific biological powers)?
>Were the trolls messaging the kids just due to their presence in the universe already, or will every session be able to communicate with their "mother" session and vice verse?
>What is the true importance of Jack Noir? Does he have a different plot depending on the session? Can a session be successful if he gains power?

And the biggest one:
>From start to finish, what would have to go right in order for a perfect game to occur?

 No.1086

>>1085
Also

>Are Denizens pre-set according to aspects, or is this just speculation?

>Does a player's planet have to follow any sort of scheme, besides all of the players planets in a session having one running theme?

 No.1087

>>1086
The only in-comic support is the narrator said that both Dirk and Caliborn got the same one because they were great warriors capable of defeating their normally assigned denizen before even entering the game.

I'm pretty sure Hussie later refused to deny they weren't aspect linked on his twitter. But I may have been sucking cocks at the time, so I could be wrong.

 No.1088

>>1087
So any particularly powerful players would get a special denizen as opposed to their regular denizen?

None of my players are power-houses prior to entering the game, so I suppose it's a non-issue.

Specifically they get Yaldaboth, the self-proclaimed gods of all monsters. A massive worm with a sun for a head.

>Is there any rhyme or reason to what order players enter The Medium? Any currently prevalent patterns?
Not that we can tell, however, the idividual who enters first ends up in some sort of leadership role.

>Is there any rhyme or reason to which players end up on which moon? Any currently prevalent patterns?

Like class and aspect, the moon the character's dream self lives on is based on who they are. It looks like, but is in no way confirmed, that it is more so based on their personality. As opposed to the character's destiny/what they need to overcome for classpect.

>Can a player's classpect powers manifest before entry to the medium (outside of troll-specific biological powers)?

IIRC, Roxy's void aspect blanking out of detection happened as soon as she booted up the came.

>Were the trolls messaging the kids just due to their presence in the universe already, or will every session be able to communicate with their "mother" session and vice verse?

Nobody knows.
The prevelant theory I've seen is that all sessions are linked and share the same outer ring so all sessions can theoretically interact.

>What is the true importance of Jack Noir? Does he have a different plot depending on the session? Can a session be successful if he gains power?

All that is known is that he want's the black queen's ring and must be prevented from getting it.

Even with this, keep in mind that the fandom is mostly cool with winging it/asspulling stuff. So focus more on making your story fun than good.

This makes me want to finish working on my Instant Fuzion hack for running SBURB-related RP/tg/.

This is all great info so far. If you guys were interested I could post classpects and a loose plot of sorts, but for now I have a few more questions.

>Guardians: For the trolls, these were just the lusii. For the humans, however, these were representations of their pre/post scratch incarnations/relatives/what have you, and Bec & God Cat. Should my human players follow this latter scheme even though they won't require a scratch to have success, or should the guardians just be their own entities?

>To summarize: in order for a session to succeed, the black king must fall, the forge must be lit, ectobiology must happen (?) and the universe frog must be properly bred, correct?

Fuck it I'll post classpects at least and my interpretations on their powers. I need help with some of them.

>Seer of Void

Basic manifestations: Hallucinations of impossible events, specifically of the opposite of how things are/will be. Terrible intuition, often leading to the opposite of the desired effect.
Advanced applications: Able to see what won't happen at any point in space or time. Able to meditate on a certain frame of reference and see the opposite of what has happened or will come to pass. Can passively tell the opposite of what will happen and (in time) react accordingly. Hears the truth when people are lying, can understand languages or phrasing meant to be cryptic or completely non-understandable.

>Thief of Breath

Basic manifestations: Possible egotism, finishes sentences and jokes (often poorly), not really sure here.
Advanced applications: Bends wind to their will, but often with unforeseen consequences. As opposed to the usually instinctive and accidentally successful wind player, has to force wind and air to do as they please. No passive support from their aspect, but in return can be very actively strong and precise. Brilliant archer and flyer.

>Bard of Space

Basic manifestations: Never loses things. They always seem to find what they are looking for in the first place they look for it. As such, they are very messy.
Intermediate manifestations: Space subconsciously bends to their will. Doors will lead to different rooms or perhaps even different planets. Paths will appear, water will part, caves will collapse, all subconsciously guiding the Bard to where they really need to be. They may be prone to digging holes or breaking objects just because.
Advanced applications: Through simply relaxing and understanding that things will go as they need to, a Bard of Space can attempt to do practically anything they want to and be assured that it will occur. They can't force themselves to fly, but if they were to fall they would glide to safety. They should simply follow whatever whims hit them. The pits they have seemingly randomly dug ages before will suddenly trip up a foe, and the shards of a broken object may become lodged in their enemies' feet.

>Rogue of Time

Basic manifestations: Always seem to be right on time. Always find just enough time to get a task done, but never too early. Great at time management.
Advanced applications: Prone to flitting around time to arrange things to save the most time possible for others. Able to expedite a task through a few well-placed blinks backwards or forwards in the time-stream. Can slow time for themselves or speed it up for others, but not the other way around.

>Heir of Rage

Basic manifestations: Unwilling yet terrifyingly ruthless/effective fighter. Sometimes slips into a tantrum/fit of no-mercy destruction. Can instinctively tell if someone means harm upon them.
Advanced applications: Able to toggle the ability to "go berserk" at will, becoming insanely strong and fast but still coherent and efficient. Shrugs off and rolls with blows as if they have no effect. Can pick up a weapon or object and know best how to use it against their target.

>Knight of Doom

Basic manifestations: Knowledgeable of many rules and laws, both legal and social. Intuitive as to how the system works and how to bend it to serve their needs.
Advanced applications: Exudes an aura of power and control, leading lesser beings to follow in their wake and take orders without question. Can turn enemies upon each other. Instinctively knows how to manipulate an opponent, either to a surrender or their own death. Aware of an opponents weak spots at a glance.

>Is there any rhyme or reason to what order players enter The Medium? Any currently prevalent patterns?
Not really, it's mostly what's convenient or available or planned in advanced. Here's the order the trolls entered in if it helps any. http://www.mspaintadventures.com/?s=6&p=004443

>Is there any rhyme or reason to which players end up on which moon? Any currently prevalent patterns?

Not really. Just flip a coin. One could argue the good guys to prospit and the 'darker' players go to derse, but Vriska and Gamzee were prospit dreamers, and Nepeta and Feferi were derse dreamers.

>Can a player's classpect powers manifest before entry to the medium (outside of troll-specific biological powers)?

Yes. Vriska could hide Scratch's cue ball because she lived next to Equius and his void powers. Jane's dream corpse did a Lifey thing when it was stabbed. Brain Ghost Dirk was pregame as well.

>Were the trolls messaging the kids just due to their presence in the universe already, or will every session be able to communicate with their "mother" session and vice verse?

The kids and trolls could communicate because of Terezi's paradoxical shenanigans with Dave's money. She used the transaction to bring awareness to the kid's universe. Theoretically any universes can communicate with the right software, but without anything to 'lock in on' there's no way to contact them.

>What is the true importance of Jack Noir? Does he have a different plot depending on the session? Can a session be successful if he gains power?

We haven't really seen a 'normal' session, so who knows how he acts in those. He hates the queen, but he seems to stay in line unless he can get some edge, like teaming with the players, or getting a powerful weapon.

>From start to finish, what would have to go right in order for a perfect game to occur?

The trolls almost had it right, but they rushed the frog breeding. A couple other fuck ups were killing their denizens instead of talking, and pissing off a planet full of angels. Just take time to play with frogs and remember the kid's 24 hour session was possible due to Dave exploiting time travel to hurry the frogs. The troll's had a 612 hour session and still rushed the frogs.

 No.1109

>Are Denizens pre-set according to aspects, or is this just speculation?
It may be aspect locked, but we do have a small sample size. John and Tavros, Rose and Vriska, and Jade and Kanaya all share aspects and denizens. Unfortunately we don't know any other troll's denizen.

>Does a player's planet have to follow any sort of scheme, besides all of the players planets in a session having one running theme?

Typically one of the words of the land has a connection to the player's aspect. Land of WIND and shade. Land of LIGHT and rain. Land of heat and CLOCKWORK. Land of frost and FROGS. The trolls have this too. The alpha kid's planets seem to be an anomaly here though, likely due to having a dead session.

 No.1110

>Guardians: For the trolls, these were just the lusii. For the humans, however, these were representations of their pre/post scratch incarnations/relatives/what have you, and Bec & God Cat. Should my human players follow this latter scheme even though they won't require a scratch to have success, or should the guardians just be their own entities?
Keep in mind that players aren't born, they're made. Also remember Skaia knows everything. The only reason there were two sets of humans and trolls was because their Skaia's knew the sessions would be scratched. Also, if your session won't scratch, there will be no Beat Mesa/Cardinal Movement thing to initiate it. So basically, just have them get raised by unrelated people.

>To summarize: in order for a session to succeed, the black king must fall, the forge must be lit, ectobiology must happen (?) and the universe frog must be properly bred, correct?

The black king's scepter must be obtained to stop the reckoning to save Skaia so there's a place for the universe frog. I'm not sure about the forge... It seems to have some use for frog breeding maybe? Ectobiology MUST happen, or else there's no one to play the game. And the frog must be bred carefully and patiently... unless you cheat with time travel. Finally the completed matured frog reacts with the battlefield/Skaia somehow and creates a doorway to The Ultimate Reward.

>What is the common fan speculation on The Ultimate Reward?

A new universe. It's not even speculation. It's clearly stated in the comic.

>What is the common fan speculation on The Choice?

It changes often. Usually something very difficult. A couple we know are Jade having to bring everything from the old session with her and that dead doomed John having to die to make sure the doomed timeline messed with the original one correctly.

>>What is the common fan speculation on The Ultimate Reward?
A new universe. It's not even speculation. ?>It's clearly stated in the comic.

A new living universe where anyone who achieved God-Tier will be mostly immortal gods to rule it.

All great info, thanks again, however...

>>1115
I understood that The Ultimate Reward was a new universe, but isn't the "God-Tiers become true Gods" thing also speculation? Is the universe one free of the game, or is the game destined to occur in every universe simply due to the nature of the game?

 No.1117

>>1116
The true god thing is speculation since we haven't seen anyone successfully claim the reward but Karkat definitely thought that the trolls would've ruled the humans. The new universe isn't freed from the game since the kid's universe was created by the trolls. It's fairly unlikely there's any universes without the game.

The first player to enter The Medium in a session where it's relevant is the resident ectobiologist. Because the alpha session and Caliborn's are weird/accounted for, the rule doesn't follow (No one is the ectobiologist there).

Your answer to the fifth question made me understand something about Noir: He is a wildcard that doesn't come into play unless he gets the upperhand on the dersite queen.
