Can we even into command line?

Hoped that this would work on a webserver

If anything I think I have free azure credit for a free GUI windows server

I assume you are trying to run the frozen exe 'server' on Linux, right?

It looks like the error is about importing OpenCV. I had a look over the code, and while the client uses that library for several things, the server only used it for determining between wmv and wma. I have rewritten that detection to use ffmpeg and refactored all the cv code out of the server's import tree for next week. Please let me know if v182 works for you.

Alright, so v182 works fine

Although, when you initiate the server over command, you aren't given an access key, whereas it's given to you when initated though the client.

I really don't want to have to set up vnc onto my primary account

The only way to alter the server atm is through the client. This includes adding services and managing users and so on. I plan to let you do all these common commands through the command line in future.

The server isn't actually initialised when you first start it, you need the client to send a POST '/init' command, which I think is normally done from service->review services.

I am not totally sure on your problem here–you should be able to init a server from a non-local client, so as long as the server's admin port is open and you can see it from your desktop, you should be able to control the server from there as normal. Just add its info in services->manage services and then look at it in services->review services. I think it puts the init button there.

Let me know if I misunderstood.
