Each pair of files aren't the same file but they're close to the same size and look like they're the same resolution. I have close to 4 gigs of thumbnails, do we really need half of them?

Thank you for pointing this out.

Normally, the client keeps a thumbnail at 200x200 and generates the resized version alongside so it doesn't have to be recreated every time it is viewed. I assume your thumbnail size in options is set to 200x200, so the resized version is just a copy of the original. I have now made it so that the client just uses the original path in this case. Once you update to v167, go file->options->maintenance and memory and set your thumbnails to 199x200, which will cause the client to delete all those _resized paths, saving you the ~2GB. Then set it back to 200x200. Thereafter, your client should not create any new _resized thumbnail paths.
