Could you please redo the manual for hydrus?

The biggest problem i find with trying to get people on board for hydrus is "I don't know how" and the guide is old and not correct

I have heard "I don't know how" and "its complicated" a lot of times.

If not, maybe everyone here on /hydrus/ should work together to make a new guide?

Yeah, I think I should make a pass over the whole thing and update the screenshots and so on. I haven't been spending much time on it because it is boring to do. I'll schedule a regular update check, so it stays up to date.

That said, if anyone wants to write some help or create a wiki for advanced usage or whatever, feel free, and I'll link it.

If the wiki were hosted I could start making entries, but I know I don't have time nor do I want to spend dosh hosting a wiki, but if its setup, i can certainly write stuff

I made a placeholder wikia a looooong time ago here:

And then I moved to other platforms. I think you can edit this, right? I still have my old wikia login, so I can probably create an account or give you permissions or whatever you would need, if that's something you are interested in.

ive never actually worked on a wiki lol, but hey, as long as the website framwork is there

probably one for me and one for the guy I know is hosting the hydrus linux repository

I think I could help out too, with the exception of server stuff that I don't understand.

I could add a list of popular tags, versions w/ changelogs, popular repos, etc.
