share->copy->image should do what you want (it'll throw the image as a bmp to your clipboard, which you can then paste to photoshop or whatever), but in just testing it now, I noticed there's a typo bug that's stopping it from working. I have fixed the bug for next week, so please try it then and let me know if it doesn't do what you want.

Ah, thank you!

It doesn't work for animated images, btw, but there is no reason it shouldn't work on the current frame in the media viewer, so I'll add that to my to-do list.
