Premium files don't seem to be going free after the 6 month period. Several files from last August should have changed over, but remain premium only.

Thanks, I suspect I know why the emails aren't being generated and I'll see if I can fix that, the rest may take a while as I have a good sized list to work through.

One of the worst and most despicable places on the entirety of the Internet with anything related to hypnosis, honestly. But the ignorant and the ill-informed will always flock to it because it get mentioned and that's enough to start all the problems.

Sad but true.

why's that? i've seen this sentiment around as well as that it's "done harm" to people. I'm not terribly familiar with the story… what's their deal?

Their new redesign is an eyesore, and worse in every way. They've chucked loads of features they couldn't figure out and now we're left with something that's objectively worse than what was there before.

It looks like whoever did it, had absolutely no idea what they were doing, and hasn't seen a site since the early nineties.

It's vastly overrated and most of the files are of low quality and can't really deliver what they promise unless you're really susceptible, but beyond that I have no clue what you're talking about. It's still prefer it to the average hypnodomme's site, and it's possible to find files from genuinely talented hypnotists who care about what they do. On that note, I fucking hate how the new layout no longer lets you go to an uploader's profile to check if they have their own site. I've discovered some good hypnotists this way.

Rather than a redesign, it feels like they just switched to a cheaper/free framework. EMG has pretty much stopped making files, and I assume he's at the point where he just wants to do the bare minimum of maintenance to keep the site going.

I was an early contributor to WWM (all my files have 15,000-25,000 downloads). What people may forget was, at the time, with very limited file sharing services, WMM was just about the only place where you could get free hypnosis files. Some pro's even put a few of their freebies on for advertising purposes. I will admit that EMG (in spite of his name, a really nice guy) was a bit clumsy in his attempts, but it gave a lot of people an opportunity to experience erotic hypnosis, and he did appeal to some people. I guess what may be meant by "despicable" is that a number of his files are labeled as "curses"; if you find yourself taken in by them, you have to pay EMG money to be released. And many do allow anybody to give the trigger word (although he did provide the "chose trigger" trance that gave you 2 seconds to think and decide whether or not to accept the trigger phrase). I remember on the old chat groups (mostly a floating erotic hypnosis chat group on Yahoo, before they blocked user created areas; an ongoing joke was that most of the discussion there was PG-13) a common trick was for someone to type out, "Slave time for you" and see if anybody bit. Some people really did get taken in by those trances; I knew one personally who subbed for me a number of times.

The WMM file directory has been fixed, so there are newly de-premium-ed files for all us cheapskates!
