I honestly don't give a shit about if the effects are permanent or not, I simply wish for an outlet to expose my submissive nature. I can, if I want to, "turn off" my hypnosis kink, I just don't want to.

No research has led to the conclusion that hypnosis is capable of doing anything that the subject doesn't want it to, permanent or not. Hell, research barely supports hypnosis at all.

To entirely stop being interested in it? I've never tried. But if you're asking whether you can decide to stop behaving in a way that pursues it, then yes.

Phrasing it like that only further mystifies it, which leads to people like OP having these questions in the first place. There's shipping freighters full of snake oil when it comes to hypnosis, so it's not surprising that people have trouble discerning the truth, especially if they're not used to sorting through this kind of thing.
