I posted this here a while ago, but it has improved since then. It's a program that takes a load of images/animations/text and displays them randomly like those hypnosis gifs or whatever. But it's completely customizable and you can set up playlists, synchronize with audio files, export videos, and there is Oculus Rift support. These days there's a graphical interface for customizing sessions too.

Let me know if you find any bugs or have feature suggestions.

Would/have you consider(ed) an APK/Android version? You don't have to put it on Google Play or anything like that.

SteamVR or Linux support?

 No.14307

it's written in C++ so I don't really know about android and I have no experience with that, so pretty unlikely, sorry.

SteamVR is possible with http://github.com/ValveSoftware/openvr (I think?) and will probably happen at some point.

The code itself is all cross-platform, I just need to sort out the build which is nonsense at the moment and Linux should be easy.

From the little I know of coding in Android, coding in general, and posts in online forums from a year ago, using the Android NDK (or natively, not certain) you can use C/C++ logic in Android, but any UI you'll have to rewrite in Java.

Anyone got video/pics/webm of it in action? I'd like to get a better grip on what exactly this is before downloading.
