Generally I think you start with Because 1. You want to do the beginner files that install the triggers. I've also tried 20 Questions, Cause and Effect, Falling Deeper and Wonder and Trance which are all just trying to make it easier to go into trance I believe. I think there are only one or two files from Nikki that specifically provide suggestions for not remembering something (I just can't remember the names of the sessions, no pun intended seriously) as I don't necessarily listen to everything she has in her portfolio - I tend to find a small number of files and use those most of the time, not the Bliss series or Black Room or the other longer multipart sessions either.
As for actual amnesia effects, it depends on you more than the files or the suggestions or even the hypnotist which is always the case but so many people can't grasp that fact of how hypnosis and trance actually function. Of course with time and practice experiencing trance gets easier, sure, but so many people get frustrated with things and it's not because of bad scripts, shitty recordings, or anything else - it really is up to the listener on both conscious and unconscious levels to decide what they'll accept and allow and follow.
But practice sure can't hurt, absolutely.
