I'd say branch off from just spamming/DDoSing and get into psyops. You can cause a lot more damage that way.

Learn to infiltrate places, gain people's trust, and utilize said trust to do whatever you want. Worm your way into a site's moderation staff and go on a banning spree. Gain influence in a community and say something that'll split them in two and start a shitstorm. Look for the dumbest people on a site, encourage their behavior, and also encourage more of them to come in, slowly turning the site to shit and/or just giving people something to laugh at.

There's a lot you can do here. It's not only more destructive and more likely to send people into a rage, but it's also more fun since you've got more options in what you can do.

I was on 4chan tried to get ideas for a simple invasion, it was deleted in a few mins most saying it was autistic, the rest agreed but thread being deleted stoped that I used to love invasions and lost interest in 4chan because of how disapproving , now I just go on /gif or /ck from time to time, but many people want invasions, they are how 4chan became so well know/popular. Now that they have had there balls removed its only the memory of the glory they once had that keeps new users going in. Anyway if you are still dedicated to this I want to help , my idea is if we can get a dedicated team together (only has to be big enough to gain some publicity), get a new name (people see these invasions online, sees 4chan is responsible then gos to 4chan thinking they will find them, doesn't and gives up ), and if we can start getting some publicity, then our numbers will increase.
